| | Create Water
(Druidism, Initiate)
Druids can call upon small mists to gather about a chosen container and provide fresh water. | |
 | | |
Using a series of alterations, the druid* may attempt to pull water from any water source -- including misty air. This is especially useful when there is no significant body of water available such as a stream or lake. Druids usually collect only small amounts at first, maybe a few hand fulls, until they become more proficient with the spell. It is possible that Druids might have somehow lowered the temperature of misty air, so the water vapor condenses to form a liquid, unless the air pressure on the barometer clearly indicates extremely low pressure -- so low that a gas would directly convert to a solid, skipping the liquid phase altogether. This spell becomes completely ineffective in dry areas such as deserts.
*One of an ancient Celtic priesthood appearing in Irish and Welsh sagas and Chrisitan legends as magicians and wizards. However, on Aelyria, they are not Irish, Welsh, or Christian, because those ethic and religious backgrounds have to do with Earth. Since Aelyria is totally different from Earth, we would say that they are plain (but very dark) magicians or sorcerers.
