A History of Early Centripax contains just as its title suggests, the origins of
Centripax from the time of its status as a duchy known as
Zerdargia. An extended pamphlet rather than an actual book, it is written on parchment and was later printed for public consumption; organized into four parts, the first offers a modest preface and summary, the second discusses Zerdargia and the rule of
Veldar as
duke, the third, the lengthiest comprising more than two thirds of the document, goes into great detail on the creation of Centripax under Duke
Doli, and, the fourth, is a treatise on the social and urban planning policies of its caretaker successor,
Soc de Ambergois, who later commissioned the writing of this work during the
Third Empire.

Doli, unlike his uncle, was not a warrior. In fact, his childhood friends being humans, elves, and dwarves alike, Doli was a remarkably tolerant and peace-loving dwarf, so much so that his best friend was a mute named Palaka. He was far more partial to a good practical joke than a bar-room scuffle. His vision was a revolutionary one, and changed the dwarves of Dargis to this day. (Part III, Paragraph 2.)
