Dubby has been in the Emporium business for a number of years. A dwarf born in Centripax province, he had had a store in the city before the destruction of Zerdargia, which had been neither large nor particularly popular with clientele. After the destruction he decided he was going to put his whole heart into his business and the new and improved Dubby's has just about anything someone might need. The store comprises two stories. On the first floor he has any foodstuffs you might need in big barrels to small packages. The aroma of coffee, cinnamon, and other spices, hits your senses when you enter the store through the large wooden door, paned in large leaden glass windows. Inside you notice the orderliness of the shelves and the foodstuffs on them. Along one wall are small wooden casks carrying the town's favorite beverage, Zerdargian ale. Small casks of red and white wine covered a smaller wall. Bags of flour, sugar, ground corn and barley for soups stands neatly stacked on the floor.

In the back is a smokehouse with carcasses of beef, pork, mutton, and lamb. Freshly killed chickens also line the smokehouse. Bacon, slabs of ribs, and cut steaks are packaged daily to meet the orders of the patrons.

Upstairs there are racks of clothing, small clothing that would fit the marjority of the citizens of Zerdargia, dwarfs and halflings. There are also bolts of material and the finest tailor in Zerdargia works here in Dubby's. A cobbler's bench sits there with a cobbler to make special orders of boots and shoes. There are also ready made boots and shoes and you might find your size if you are a dwarf or a smaller foot. All other shoes and boots are special order. There are leather goods, belts, purses and wallets. There are also dishes, pots and pans and traveling supplies like tents and bedrolls. The prices are posted on a poster at the front of the store. If you don't find a price of something you can't stand to live without just ask Dubby or his son, Junior. One can't mistake the resemblence as the red-haired father and son have merry twinkling blue eyes. If you're not in a hurry, you could probably talk them out of a cup of coffee for a good story.
