Aediles Office
Resting quietly beside The Bank of Zerdargia was the Aediles Office. Like most dwarven buildings, it was quite plain on the outside, made of stone with a simple, solid wooden door. A large plank of wood above the door proclaimed it "The Aediles Office of Zerdargia" in both Common and Dwarven.
Upon entering the small, but well decoarted building, you spot a young dwarven female sitting behind a beautiful oak desk. In front of the desk are several padded chairs used for clients who are conducting business. The room is filled with large cabinets used to hold the records and various other files of everyone who has business with the Aedile.
Overall, the room is extremely tidy and clean. Beneath your feet is a comfy, thick rug. Looking up from her papers, the dwarven female greets you with a friendly smile. "Serale. Please, sit down. What can I help you with today?"

Arkas made his way into the impressive aediles office with a large smile on his face. He was excited to be in the presence of Dwarves once more. Making his way to the counter he set eyes on a beautiful Dwarven female.
"Serale beautiful, you can help me with a simple question I had.. I was wondering if I were to purchase a business from one of the local merchants what was the required process? Do I need to just bring in the signed away title to the property? Do both individuals have to be present, or can we do that in the matter of our own homes?" Arkas asked has he unintentionally scanned the body of the female. It was apparent he was attracted to her.

Sadie Goldbrick the clerk blushed furiously as Arkas eyed her up and down. Normally she wouldn't be startled at such a frank look of admiration. She lightly brushed her short blond beard with her fingertips before she answered.
"Well, I guess you could make a deal with someone to buy a business, but usually the owner sells them to us and we sell them to the customers. Do you have a business in mind?" she said batting her eyelashes at Arkas.

Arkas looked around both directions and motioned to the female to lean forward. Other than to catch a quick whiff of a female Arkas wanted to make it apparent that he didn't want others to know his business.
"Me and the business owner really dont want anyone to know the transaction. We both need it to go by as quielty as possible. Thats why he was wondering if he can just sign the deed over himself without letting any third parties get involved." Arkas leaned back into his seat.
"The business owner is very scared for certain reasons, and cant let anyone know about what is going on between me and him." Arkas said while internally thinking it might lure the female into his web of entrapment. If anything was gained from this ordeal, hopefully Arkas could get a second meeting with the beautiful blond Dwarf.

Sadie didn't know what to think of this dwarf, first of all he was making her blush furiously. She self-consciously patted her long blond braid and stroked her beard with thought before answering.
"What is yer name? I don't think we can do somethin' like that, unless ye pay for it. We got stric' rules and such ... no body cain do somethin' like that without the Aedile's approval, then we gotta appraise the business and ye gotta pay the appraisal price." She paused for a moment, then asked coyly, "So ye a member of a clan?"

Arkas nodded his head and smiled at the beautiful blond. "You tell me yours and I will tell you mine." He said with a wink. Waiting to see if she responded positive or negatively.
"Aye, I am a part of the clans here in town."

Arkas smiled, he enjoyed the girlish motions she was giving. "An Sadie my name is Arkas of Clan Derisson." He said with a wink.
"Sadie that is a beautiful name, I think I met your father, I stopped by there to talk about opening an account." Arkas said as he looked down at her hand to see if she hand a ring. Without noticing if she had one or not he continued.
"Your afully young to be married arent you?" Arkas said as he knew either way he could get an answer out of her.

Sadie blushed, "ohh I'm not married, jes' turned 100 last week, jes a maid lookin' fer a good man."
"So Arkas, what ye do fer a livin', ye a miner?" She had no doubt noticed Arkas' work callused hands. A sign of a good worker in dwarfdom. Her own hands were soft and just had a slight downy covering of hair, which matched her blond hair. Her blue dress matched her eyes which were looking at him coyly as only a maiden could look.

Arkas nodded his head and looked around the room. "The' best miner in all the empire!" He reached deep into his pocket digging around for a few seconds he pulled out his most prized possession. The roughly cut three carat emerald was beautiful in its own way. The gorgeous color gleamed in the light but unlike a cut gem, this stone gave off a little curiosity of what it could be one day.
Placing it on the counter he smiled and winked at her. "Who else could find rocks like this?"
"Tryin' to find a good man huh? Well look no further beautiful. Can I interest you in a drink or some dinner tonight?" Arkas said with a warm charming smile.

Sadie smiled then picked up the stone, "Beautiful," she whispered. "Ye aren't givin' this to me, are ye. I don't take gifts from customers, but eyeing it up and down, "my uncle Evan could cut this for ye. Looks like it'd make a pretty gemstone," she blushed a little then set it down.
"Dinner, um, well there's the Malachite Inn, its a bit pricey but all the clans go there," she smiled, "Clan Derisson, I don't remember seeing ye there before, Arkas."

Arkas knew his pockets weren't too deep, but if he was to capture the heart of this young beauty he must toss around some crowns. "Ahh nothing is too pricey for me! Malachite Inn, it is! Yeah your right, I just moved up here from High Peak not to long ago. Haven't been a member of the clans too long either. " Smiling as Arkas took the jewel back into his pocket he looked at her with a wink. "Maybe one day, beautiful I will cut it for you."
"So what time shall I meet you there?" Arkas said referring to the Inn.

Sadie blushed again furiously, "I get off at late brightening, maybe 6 ish. Ye'll have to be careful tho' me brothers are fierce fighters if their sister's honor is at stake. If ye're willin' to face their wrath, then I'll meet ye there at six ...."
She looked at him several times her eyes darting a little too and fro. She hoped he'd take a bath at his apartment before his date. She particularly admired a good smellin' dwarf unlike her smelly brothers.

"Six o' clock it is, I will see you there Sadie." Arkas said with a smile as he headed out to get cleaned up before their date tonight.
