Letter to the Thane Take 2!

A second letter arrived, shortly after the first.

Serale, and greetings to all in Zerdargia.

Firstly, let me assure you that Captain Borlath, the head of our military here is looking into sending you what aid we can and please may I assure you that we are not prepared to stand by whilst you suffer and we will offer you what aid we can.

To this end, and in the hope of creating a more united Centripax, I wish to invite you, or your representative to Midpoint, for a meeting of all Thanes, as was the tradition historically. The aim of this meeting is to discuss the situation in all cities under the auspices of Centripax.

This nature is blatently of an immediate concern, and as such I invite you to a meeting at Midpoint on Solaria, Cycle 3 of Ponutis. Please, I urge you to attend and to put forward your needs and abilities. Only if we step forward can we hope for a united Centripax.

Your reply would be gratefully received in order to ensure that all preparations can be fully completed.

The Thane,Frederick Weatherstone read the letter as he sat eating breakfast and contemplated it for a while while he munched. As he did so, his mother reached over and plucked it from his fingers and read it.

Well don't think that you are going to that young man! She told him.

Mother, I have to go, all the other Thanes will be there and you wanted to visit there anyway didn't you?

The discussion dragged on for a while but in the end the Thane had his way, which was a little unusual but it happened to be true that his mother wanted to visit some old friends in Midpoint.
