The last brightening of the last cycle in the month of Imperos Summer of Era I of the Celestine Mandate
Era X Post Fractum in the Age of the Darkening, the Mageocracy of Julos the Mad Paradigm: The Truce of Demios and the Merfolk

Zerdargia. It was a welcoming sight for sore eyes, being away from the bustling dwarven metropolis seemed to have taken a bit of it out of the giant Veldar soldier. Sticking out like a giant in a dwarf city, ironically enough it was the case, Veleraen walked through the hustle and bustle of Zerdargia's streets, still weary from his long travel.

Hanak, his large falcon companion perched upon his shoulder looked abroad, his large black eyes searched his surroundings for potential prey. Veleraen scratched the underbelly of the beautiful bird and Hanak squawked in return, enjoying the affection. The giant smirked and chuckled. "You really are one for life's little pleasures aren't you Hanak?" As if the Falcon understood the giant's words, it screeched in a low tone and ruffled its feathers. The giant could only grin and keep walking through the shorter people crowds within the street. His long legs reaching up to the taller species' heads at some points, Veleraen looked downwards, wondering what it would be like to be as short as them. "I've always wondered what it would be like to be as tall as those other people, just for a brightening...To see things from their perspective..." The giant paused in mid thought, and then shook his head. "Nah, on second thought, I'll stay the way I am..."

The giant, wearing his Veldar uniform, his spiked helm underneath his arm, as it looked a little odd without the rest of his armour. The brown beard and ponytail sticking out from opposite ends of his head, the giant stepped over a group of dwarven citizens, sending them scattering. The giant looked down and apologized as he walked back. "My apologies..." The dwarven citizens just huffed and went along their daily business. Sometimes it was rough being the tallest in the city, no other giant in sight, it was tough being away from your own race sometimes, and Veleraen had started to feel that already, even though he had only been away for almost a whole era.

Heading slowly but surely towards the Veldar compound, Veleraen took his time, enjoying the sights and sounds around him, his eyes able to see over most of the buildings in Zerdargia. It was a mediocre brightening, not too cloudy, not too sunny either, but with the approach of autumn coming, the surrounding landscape would change drastically as the shift in climate would be quite quick and unforgiving. Sighing, the giant walked, and walked, hoping that he wouldn't make it to the Veldar compound that brightening.

Norin Beldwhig is an upstanding Citizen
That evening, Norin Beldwhig was walking through the streets. It had been a hard brightening at the Veldar Compound and he needed to get away. Along with a small group of a dozen other dwarven Veldar Elite, Norin was heading towards Omally's for an evening drink before they would all hit the sack. Norin was tired and didn't listen to the conversation the other dwarves were having. He just heard their mirth and laughter in the background. Norin was contemplating. He wasn't sure himself on what but what he was sure of was that the contemplation was caused by his tired body. His mind was working but the rest was too tired to follow in what was going on.

It wasn't long before the dwarves were quite a walk infront of him but he didn't mind. He wasn't part of the conversation and he knew the way to Omally's. If he wanted more company or if the others wanted to talk to him, they would join up, probably first at the tavern though.

As Norin was walking in his own mind bearing his uniform proudly out of habit more than pride, he walked into something hard and fell to the ground. He grunted and wasn't in a very good mood since he was tired and just wanted a cold ale. He looked up to see what it was he had bumped into when he suddenly realized that he was sitting on the ground infront of another Veldar Elite. It was his old friend, the giant Veleraen.

Norin's face brightened up. He had tried to mingle with the other dwarves from the compound since his return but he had never really bonded with any of them. When he saw Veleraen he was happy. He didn't try to get up but instead yelled out, "VELERAEN!!! You're back. And just at the time that you signed for. I was beginning to worry thinking that you might be deserting the Veldar Elite. How are you my old friend?"

Little did Norin realize that he was still sitting on the cobblestone street of Zerdargia between the gates and the Veldar Compound. Little did Norin realize that summer was over and that autumn was slowly creeping in. He only realized that he had just bumped into one of his greatest friends as he had done so many times in the past.

Lost in thought, Veleraen trudged through the streets, not expecting what happened next. Feeling a large object hit his lower leg, Veleraen peered down to see a dwarf wearing a Veldar uniform, the only dwarf he knew who could run into a giant more than three times without seeing him before hand. Veleraen grinned as wide as a giant could grin and let out a large laugh.

"You fail to amaze me Norin. Only you can run into my leg so many times without getting angry at me. It is good to see you as well my good friend. Yes, indeed it has been a while since we have met, my journey has been long and perilous. I would never abandon the Veldar, they are my life and besides, would I leave a comrade in arms hanging? I think not. Aslan willing..." Veleraen chuckled and looked to see that he was almost at the compound.

"I am doing fine, although a little bruised, a little worn and tired, but I am alive thank Aslan. You would not believe the adventures I have been on since I had left two months ago. How have you been? You seem a little disgruntled at the moment, I hope your run in with my leg didn't shake you up too much." said Veleraen, being quite sarcastic at the end, giving Norin a hard time. The giant was always a tease with the dwarf, but he knew it was all in good fun. It had been a long time since the two parted ways in the Veldar, but now they were back, Veleraen still earning for the day when both Norin and himself would amount to something big in the Veldar. Hopefully in the coming months, the pair would prove to the Elite that they were one of the elite.

It was quite an odd sight, a dwarf and a giant talking to one another on the busy evening streets of Zerdargia as they got weird and awkward stares from citizens and fellow guards alike as they passed by. It wasn't every day a giant and a dwarf were as good of friends as Norin and Veleraen were.

Norin noticed that he was sitting on the ground and decided that standing up was more comfortable. Therefore, he pulled himself up to his feet by using one of his arms to push his heavy body off the ground. Once up, he started brushing off whatever dirt had found its way unto his uniform. He looked down at it while listening to Veleraen and then replied, "I have not been very good. I was hoping to find myself if I returned home to Primus Gaudeo but I have only lost myself more. I believe that if I stay in the current surroundings I will be fine but PG is not my place, not my home anymore. I even wonder if Dargis exists. Three are rumours but I have lost faith in the dwarves of old and believe that I'm part of the new generation, the generation of Allerian Dwarves."

Norin nodded. He was satisfied with his reply and looked demanding at Veleraen as if he was asking about his past. Then he noticed that his friends had all gone to the tavern and so he proposed the same, "What do you say that we talk about the past over a tankard of ale, hey?"

Veleraen nodded solemnly once or twice through Norin's response and then smiled and chuckled at the offer Norin presented to the giant. "Just like old times my good friend, I would indeed be honoured to share a tankard of ale with you."

After a pause, Veleraen and Norin started off towards Omally's Tavern. "It is sad that you did not find what you were looking for in Primus Gaudeo. I am sure Dargis exists, perhaps one day I will go with you to Dargis and help you search for it together. It will be a fine story to tell and sing about... Which reminds me, how is your singing coming along Norin? Have you won any of the ladies over with your deep booming voice as of late? From what I heard last time, they should be crawling at your feet by now."

Veleraen gave a hearty laugh as they approached the tavern and opened up the door to let the dwarf through first. It was nice to be back, letting the good times roll, drinking the night away.

Veleraen and Norin found their way towards Omally's Tavern. On the way Veleraen spoke and Norin first had the chance to speak when he reached the tavern. He opened the door and entered the booming tavern filled with life. Norin spoke as he made his way to one of the tables by the window so that if Veleraen ever got tired of standing or sitting on the small stools, he could always find his way outside and sit by the window. When they were settled, Norin waited for the waitress. Meanwhile he chatted with Veleraen "Ah... My singing. Well, I had a concert a few brightenings ago in this very tavern. I haven't had any feedback yet but I must admit that I found myself on top that day. I sang while this other dwarf called Rongar played the harp for me. It was amazing, you should have been there. Maybe, another brightening you will witness my appearance in public."

Norin held a short pause, "Dargis. That name has become legend in my ears. I didn't know much of it in the past but now... I wish it exist but even if it does I believe that the inhabitants are different from myself. Different culture, maybe even a different subrace of the dwarves. What if I'm not accepted. Maybe, Dargis is not my city although I would gladly visit it one day." Norin was getting annoyed that no waitress noticed them and thus tried to get the attention of one.

OOC: I can't find the prices for drinks in Omally's. Help please.

OOC: Apparently Orea is not joining us in this thread Norin, so it looks like its just the two of us. As for the prices of the ale in Omally's i'm sure we can just estimate and then correct it later on if need be. Not that big of a problem with a few crowns.

IC:

The big man and Norin wandered through the tavern until they came upon a table next to a window. Veleraen didn't like it much that his size impeded his activities, but what was he going to do about it? Instead of sitting on a stool or outside by the window, Veleraen sat on the floor crosslegged, now free of his armour constraints unlike before. Leaning back against the wall of the tavern, Veleraen relaxed and listened to Norin as he soaked in the familiar sights and sounds of the ever so famous Zerdargian tavern, Omally's.

"A concert? Well I'm sure you performed with skill that even Aslan would be impressed with. I wish I was there to see it... Unfortunately I was probably engaged in a fight for my life with an army of orcs in Malice at the time, praise Aslan I am not lying dead in that pathetic rotten hole of a city at this very moment." Veleraen looked around for a waiter as Norin did, until one came by. She was a stout little dwarven woman, although Veleraen couldn't tell the different until she spoke and even then it didn't really sound different from a male. The dwarves were truly a unique race. She politely asked what the two soldiers would have.

"Ah... Well, I could go for a couple pitchers of ale." After Norin ordered his bit, the waitress went off to fetch their drinks and whatnot. Listening to Norin talk about Dargis got the adventurous blood running through Veleraen once again, as the giant strove for excitement and travel. "I would gladly accompany you Norin on your travels, unfortunately I do not think the Dargis dwarves would take kindly to my folk, and I would definitely not be able to go inside Dargis as my size impedes my options." Veleraen gave out a hearty laugh and grinned. "Perhaps you would be able to write a song about my adventures? I have enough stories to write many songs about!"

Veleraen turned his head slightly as the waitress brought Norin and Veleraen their respective orders. "Are ye puttin' this on a tab gentlemen? Or are ye payin' up front? Omally don't like freeloaders ya know." Veleraen smiled and reassured the waitress. "Please, put our orders on a tab and we shall pay at the end of the night. You have my word." The waitress grunted and nodded and walked away to help out some other drunken customers at another table.

"Now where was I?" Veleraen reached out and took ahold of one of the pitchers of ale he had ordered and took a swig from it and licked his lips. "It has been a long time since I have tasted the fine brew of the dwarves... It ceases to amaze me how fine it tastes." Taking another swig, Veleraen sighed relaxingly and set his pitcher down, now lost in utter thought.

"What was I saying again?"

Norin laughed at Veleraen's remark about Dargis. He had forgotten that size and race mattered in Dargis and could only imagine what the dwarves would do if they ever encountered a giant. The ancient race should still have their ancient grudges. Norin felt honoured that Veleraen wished that Norin was to write songs about his adventures and Norin; "sure sure, I'll do it. Anything for an old friend."

The waitress came with the ales and Norin took his own mug and drank from it. He loved ale, especially dwarven ale. He had tried some of that, which humans called ale but it was different. Besides, their malt was better than their ale. Norin grunted a little and spilled ale over his beard as he was trying to reply Vel. Then he remembered that he had a mug in his hand and put it down on the table whereafter he tried to reply again, "I believe you were going to tell me about your adventures. Don't spare the details, they are the essence of a good song." Norin was already making mental notes about the adventures of Veleraen.

The ale must've had more of an intoxicating effect on Veleraen, as his memory wasn't the best thing in the world. "Oh yes, my adventures. Where to start, where to start....I had so many it's hard to choose....Okay, I guess I will start with right after I left Zerdargia as I walked through the wilderness towards Daltina." The giant took another sip of ale and exhaled deeply.

"When I first left Zerdargia, I was walking through the wilderness towards Daltina to go meet the famous Nashkel Angor of Daltina, the leader of the Keepers of the Summit. I was headed off there to go join the guild and talk with one of my giant bretheren. Well, as soon as I head out, about a couple of kilometres out from the city in the forest, I run into a patrol of Veldar soldiers attacking what seemed to be undead! Yes, undead, I couldn't believe it either at first. The undead seemed to be pulling out some sort of bones from the ground, but I couldn't see a whole lot, but I'm willing to bet you know what I did next... Yes, I joined in on the attack."

"In the heat of the moment, I leap into the fray, my mighty halberd swinging away, hacking and chopping at the undead, sending them flying this way and that. The Veldar fought with great skill and fierceness, but praise Aslan, the result of the battle did not turn as well as I thought it would. Several other adventurers joined our little battle, an elf by the name of Medea Lightfoot, and a dwarf named Todun Dravengour, whom is also a Veldar Elite soldier. We fought valiantly, but in the end we were overpowered by sheer numbers of undead that kept attacking. I managed to take out at least twenty or thirty undead before we were over run and surrounded. The undead killed the other Veldar soldiers and somehow, they were ressurected as undead by a necromancer not too far off in the undead camp. A mystic that was leading the camp captured us and took all our armour and weapons and chained us to a wagon that was apart of a caravan of sorts comprised of undead and some orcs surprisingly." Veleraen took a deep breath and waited if Norin wanted to say anything and the continued if he didn't.

"So, there we were, hopeless in this wagon, chained and surrounded by undead guards, weapons at our necks. All of a sudden the caravan stopped because of some travellers up ahead who were vysstichi. A fight broke out and then out of nowhere, from the heavens, acid rained down on the caravan and the surrounding area, as if an evil mage summoned it to destroy it. While the fight was going on, an elven ranger hopped into the back of the wagon we were in and freed us leading us to the safety of the forest for the time being. All of our armour and weapons were destroyed, including my full platemail and weapon which cost me quite a bit to procure I must say." At that moment, Hanak who was still sitting on his shoulder squawked and screeched quietly. Veleraen laughed and stroked the underbelly of the large golden falcon that was resting upon his shoulder. "Don't worry Hanak, I did not forget you. I also bonded with Hanak here in the Hinterlands a while back when I received my full plate armour. We have been best friends ever since..." The giant stared off into the big black eyes of the majestic bird and then snapped back to reality after a few moments.

"Erm, sorry bout that. Where was I? Oh yes, weapons destroyed... ah yes. Okay, so, after we retreat to the forest, acid rains down and melts away all of the undead and orcs, dissolving them to nothing. The wagons and caravan are destroyed and so we retreat to this elven camp that is apparently based in the Heartlands of Centripax where we were. The trio of us along, the giant, elf and dwarf all received new weapons which were brilliantly crafted and were also enchanted. Before they were destroyed in Arconis on my way back from the Malice war, I had full plate armour with shoulder, forearm, and shin blades protruding from them, along with the insignia of Aslan on the breastplate. The armour itself was able to heal my wounds once a brightening or someone else of my choosing. I also received a mighty halberd named "Aslan's Fang". It was perfectly balanced and at about twelve feet long, was one of the most powerful weapons I had ever wielded. It was able to cut through the thickest of steels as if it were silk and combined with my strength it was unstoppable. That blade tasted more flesh than that of a war hardened veterans on my two month journey."

Taking another sip of ale, Veleraen let Norin wait in anticipation of the next bit of his story in the heartlands, but first he had to soothe his throat from talking so much. Never before had Veleraen said more than a few sentences at a time. "Ahh... that is good brew. Now where was I again?"

OOC: I just didn't want to make a long large spiel of story that you'd have ot read, might as well do it in chunks .

Norin was astounded by Veleraen's story. So much had happened to him since he had left Zerdargia and nothing had happened to Norin apart from the few rumours and legends he had heard about Dargis. The tale of undeads, acid rain, and magical equipment inspired Norin greatly. He was pleased to be the friend of such a heroic person as Veleraen and didn't understand why the ancient dwarves held such an evil grudge on such a large and majestic people. Norin didn't care, for the moment.

When Veleraen mentioned Hanak, Norin noticed the golden falcon. He had seen it before but had not taken any heed to it thinking it was nothing but a wild animal. Now, he noticed that the falcon had a name and seemed bonded to the great humanoid. Hanak seemed to be Veleraen's familiar. Norin was jealoux. How could it be that Veleraen was so much more succesful in life than Norin although they were probably the same rank. It didn't matter, Veleraen was his friend, probably his best friend and the jealousy was quickly overwhelmed by proud. Norin felt proud to be Veleraen's friend, he felt proud to able to talk to him the way he was talking to him and honestly, he needed a friend.

Norin listened to Veleraen's tale and didn't notice that he had lost the thread. Norin was trying to take mental notes on the tale but had a hard time after Hanak had been introduced. Suddenly, a short pause, Norin noticed why he was unable to take any more mental notes. Veleraen had lost the thread and had asked Norin about something, "I'm sorry. You lost me. I was... Well, you're bird, you're golden falcon is really something unique. I must say, he pulled me into a state in which I didn't hear whatever you said last. Please repeat and continue with your tale. It's so amazing. There are undead, acid rain, magical equipment. Please, don't stop."

Veleraen had indeed had a happen to him, although it wasn't the best of experiences, as Norin was probably better off than he was. Hearing Norin say the name of his Falcon, Veleraen grinned and nodded.

"Aye, Hannak does that to me as well. He is an amazing creature...As I was saying...acid rain, undead, magical items..Okay." Clearing his throat Veleraen began.

"After we received the weapons we returned to the sight of the melted caravan to see if we could recover anything that might've been left untouched by the acid rain, but to no avail. But as we approached the area, something terrifying could be seen in the distance...It was a massive shadow creature, made of the darkened souls of the dead that were killed in the acid rain attack. I had no idea who had summoned it, but my best guess is an evil necromancer of sorts... As the shadow creature approached closer, we saw in the treeline some more people, hiding. One of them was a Relequis by the name of Teyala, another elf by the name of Faust D'Rinishad, and a Dracon named Armacor Daemon. We all fought the shadow creature together, Faust and I dealt the final blows, as we sliced through the creature, allowing the souls to escape back to Aeternia where they were supposed to go...Aslan bless the Veldar's souls.."

Taking another chug of his drink, Veleraen finished a pitcher and started on his next one. "We learned that the camp of elves we had stumbled upon was here to fight the evil necromancer and undead in a castle not far off in the heartlands. That night we slept but were awoken by the undeniable sound of the undead. We fought through the night, many people parished, but we survived." Lowering his head a little, Veleraen payed homage to the dead.

"That story is getting a little too saddening for me. Lets see, oh yes. After my encounter in the heartlands, I travelled towards Daltina and ended up travelling to Malice, where I met my friend Nashkel Angor, a fellow giant. I was asked of him to join him in battle against the Malice army in their siege and I gratefully accepted to fight alongside him and his army. It was a tremendous battle. A sea of orcs lined the edges of Malice against the Enamorian army. I was on the front line with Nashkel and another giant of the name Stoned Darkholme. Orcs charged the lines and charged the lines, it was quite intense. I lost count of how many I slew that day, as there were so many...It was a gruesome sight. Blood flew everywhere, men and women cried out in pain, the clash of steel upon steel was deafening. The show of Arcana prowess amongst the armies was quite interesting as well. Bolts of energy and other such spells flew across the battle field. Never before had I seen such a sight."

The malice war had been a thing of the past for Veleraen which led him up to the final part of his journey back to Zerdargia. "On the way back from Malice, I stopped in at Arconis to re supply for the rest of the journey home. Little did I know that they did not take a liking to the giant race. Apparently their people have been terrorized by giant marauders from the Khardran mountains. I walked upon their streets, only to find that a demon hound of sorts was lose. I challenged it to distract it from the rest of the civilians, and it worked, a little too well i'm afraid." Veleraen lifted up his left hand and showed a massive patch of deformed skin and up a little higher, a large gash in his bicep that had healed over, only a scar remaining now. "As I fought the beast, it jumped into the air and sprayed acid at me. It landed upon my armour and weapon that I had received in the Heartlands by the elves, and literally melted it away. I was lucky that brightening as I was able to pry my armour off me and discard my weapon. All I had at my disposal was a tower shield and a helmet and that was it. Also, when I was in Arconis, acid rain fell once again upon the area to which I was fighting. I have an inkling suspicion that it was from the same mage that attacked us in the heartlands. In the midst of the battle, a katta jumped on the back of the beast and attempted to slay the beast with his own hands. He was... a foolish one, nevertheless brave. Meanwhile, an elven mage was using his arcanic abilities to fire projectiles at the hound to disable it. It eventually was brought down but it dragged itself off into an alleyway and disappeared, never to be seen again. After that, I left, and here I am now, battered, beaten and tired, but in the midst of great company, and an old friend." The giant smiled, and raised his glass.

"To old times, old friends, and our adventures along the way."

Norin Beldwhig is an upstanding Citizen
Norin was lost in thoughts. His muse had reached him. Tales and adventures always inspired him to sing and unbeknowns to him he was humming, a beautiful and deep yet silent hum that would fill most dwarves with nostalgia about the old days. He was humming and he was lost in his own world. He was happy that Veleraen was still alive to be able to tell him his tales. In a few brightenings, Norin would sing Vel's adventures and people would know what he had done, or at least rumours would start circulating as usual. Norin had had only one concert in which he had lost inpsiration at one point. He had been worried that he wouldn't be able to sing enough songs or even produce enough music for the demanding crowd.

Norin knew that different songs inspired different things in different people and he was already contemplating Veleraen's adventure. He would have to make several songs. He was already thinking about something majestic and big. He would also include some drinking songs, love songs, and happy songs. There was enough to create everything within Veleraen's travels. Norin was pleased and switched his thoughts over to poetry wondering how he would set together the different events that Veleraen had experienced. He was already inserting Daktyls and Protæ into his songs, both being intstruments of poetry which he had invited himself, a way to keep and explain rythm through literature.

Norin was pulled out of his reverie by Veleraen's cheers and he cheered in return and was happy. He no longer felt alone and understood that he needed more friends. He clearly did. He drank the remains of his ale although he spilled most of it out on his beard. Then, immediately, he started on his next ale enjoying being with an old friend and contemplating on music.

"So, my old friend. Is that all or do you have more that I must insert into my own private art? I'm guessing your done, and I must admit It's good to have you back, Vel. as Norin spoke, the other Veldar dwarves had noticed that he was not sitting with him and waving at him wanting him to play along in a drinking game. It was ridiculous, wasting money on good ale for nothing more than a game and thus, Norin declined. He enjoyed his ale and his dwarven metabolism would probably keep him from getting drunk. He actually never recorded being drunk and wondered how it must feel.

OOC: My computer keeps on crashin. This is the third time I'm trying to post here.

"I'm afraid that is all I have to tell for the time being. I am sure I will have many more stories in the coming times. It is good to be back Norin, here in Zerdargia, with you and the Veldar. It's good to be home." Veleraen raised his glass and took another gulp of ale and let out a relaxing sigh. It had been too long since that fateful brightening when he left on his leave to go venture off into the untamed wilderness of Enamoria. Many battle wounds and weary travelling had taken its toll on the giant. He smelled like a rotten barrel of eggplant and had the breath that could plant the biggest ox in the countryside on its face. His face and hair was littered with dirt and muck, his clothing was less than spiffy, his uniform wrinkled, smeared with blood and dirt from his battles and such on the way there and back. Many of the people around them started to sniff the air and slowly moved a couple tables back to avoid the table where Veleraen sat. The giant couldn't really blame them, as he desperately needed a large shower at the Veldar compound before reporting in next brightening.

"I'm kind of glad I have to report into the Veldar tomorrow. At least I won't be in as much harms way as I was out in my travels. Tell me Norin, what plans do you have for yourself in the near future? I know you wish to find Dargis one day, but there must be something else that intrigues that dwarven mind of yours." Veleraen grinned and took another large gulp of his ale, licking his lips to the last drop. The giant had already consumed a lot of ale at that point, and he could see a pair of dwarven men staring at him, mostly in amazement as the big man guzzled down the ale.

The waitress that had been there before, came by and asked if they wanted anything else. Veleraen pointed down to the several pitchers that he had ordered for himself and Norin. "If you wouldn't mind, would you care to fill those pitchers up again? Thankyou." The waitress took the five or so pitchers and went to the back to fill them back up again. Smiling, Veleraen set his mug down and waited to see if Norin would speak his mind.

Norin nodded to the waitress to let her know that she could also fill up his mugs. Indeed, it was nice to be with a friend although the smell was getting to Norin and he disliked it. It didn't really matter though since this was a friend and he would do almost anything for a real friend. Also, it was a source of inspiration for his music and poetry. He would be able to insert something he had witnessed himself into the songs and poetries about Veleraen and his travels.

Norin replied to Veleraen when the waitress had elft, "Well, my good friend, I do indeed have things on my mind but not much. I have different concerts ready here in Zerdargia and if it is well liked, then I might earn some fame and money through that. Apart from that, well, I'm just happy that I'm back here to be able to serve the Veldar Elite. They are the protectors of this city and I will indeed protect it as well as I can." Norin's face suddenly brightened up as if he had had an idea or an epiphany. "That reminds me. I believe I have a concert here tomorrow evening. I'll try to get your songs and poetry ready. Like that, you can hear them and you can comment on them so that I can improve them. How do
