Church

In Aelyria, the Church is a term used to describe the centralized institution of organized religion. It is governed under a mandate by The Crown, and is embodied in the organization of the Church of the Faith.

A church is a place of worship of a god or goddess or many gods and/or goddesses. Although a church is a place where people pray, it is also a place where people eat a evening meal or converse with friends or teach children playfully. A cathedral is a church for Christians; a mosque is a church for Muslims; a synagogue is a church for Jews. In some churches, there are animal sacrifices, because those are some beliefs to please gods and goddesses.

Because a church is so important in some people's lives, people marry in the church to boost luck and success in a wedding and to thank whatever god or goddess for the couple's meeting.

In some cases, there are some people known as nuns and monks who work and dwell in churches.
