The term Curia is an Ancient Aelyrian word that, roughly translated, means social class. Literally, the word curia means "grouping", and was never used to describe the Aelyrians themselves, who were each instead grouped into both a Gens (or tribe) and a Patria (or nation). Instead, the Ancient Aelyrians delighted in observing the petty squabbles of nobles on the continent and enjoyed a relaxing pasttime of spying on the people and organizing them into hastily formed social tiers.
