A Habitat of
Creatures.
Even from above the water, the beauty of the coral reef is undisputed. Below it, it is a realm of enchantment, scintillating spectrums of fish ebb and dance, the fronds of the plant like creatures sway in time, completing this intertwined ballet of life in the sparkling shallows. Even at night the dance continues, but with new players. Nocturnal creatures, bringing with them their own sources of light with which to seek one another, glide through the moonlit waters.
But life on the reef is not quite as idyllic as appearances would have you believe. To survive, creatures must either be able to escape their enemies, avoid being seen altogether, or have some means of protection. This protection is in the form of powerful poisons or unpalatable flesh, and the most eye catching of the reef fish, are usually also the most dangerous.

Sea Cucumbers,
