Born from the hatred and scorn, fury and anger that boils over in the hearts of mortals, the Plane of Hate is ruled by the God of Wrath, the Suzerain of Pain, Ainlar. It is a vast, neverending city crafted in the most torturing of terms - with streets that lead to certain death, buildings from which there is no escape, and spiralling catwalks that suddenly vanish plunging its hapless travelers down into a pit of eternal despair. In his spare time, Ainlar enjoys distributing these droplets of doom from the poisoned Well at the center of his Malevolent Metropolis to mortals, eagerly awaiting the consequences of the unleashed fury and anger that emerges. His hatred extends even to himself, for it is believed that he was consumed by his own hatred of his mediocre life and meaningless existence, that in the Afterlife, he became too much for Jalat and the demigods of the Umblat to handle, and so he was released much to their thanks.
