In Arcana, or Magic, Spellcrafting is the practice and profession of creating spells by shaping mana by a mage proficient in Spellcraft. As a practical trade, Spellcrafting also includes the imparting of the spell, either through direct instruction or by scribing the spell onto a scroll for later distribution, as well as the perfecting of standards for the creation and sharing of spells among the magical community.
