Keldon was sitting down in the apartment away from Yarrow who was now likely asleep. It was only him and Rhys in the area, looking to the man he smirked. "Can you sit down a moment Rhy's, we need to talk." He said with some weight in his voice that denoted it was something serious.

"Have you considered what you are going to do in the future Rhys? The future for your children? For Yarrow?" He asked slowly.

As Keldon spoke Rhys could easily see the seriousness in his voice. He knew something like this would've come up along the way. Was he prepared? Mostly.

"I plan to provide for them. I plan to be a good father. I plan to do whatever I need to do to keep them both happy and safe."

He knew this was a broad answer to give Keldon but he knew that the former thane was digging, wanting to be sure of this.

Keldon nodded. "These are troubled times we live in Rhys, troubled times indeed. The question of the matter is how much are you willing to do to protect them Rhys? How much are you willing to give up in order to keep them from harms way to the best of your ability? Yarrow is not blood, however she is family and I would die to protect you, her and her young..." Keldon paused looking to him.

The biggest question someone could ask, he knew his answer. He turned serious and looked to Keldon.

"Yes, defintly troubled and I would die defending them. I wouldn't pass on until I was sure they we're out and safe."

Nodding slowly he pulled out his longsword slowing and set the tip down on the floor holding it. Turning it slowly, the tip starts to slightly cut into the wooden floor as it moved. "This blade... is a tool, an extension of the deeds a man can make.... it can turn a man into a vial criminal and take the lives of innocents... or it can turn one into a hero, save the lives of thousands and kill those who seek to harm you and your family, your people..." Stopping the blade abruptly he looked to Rhys. "A weapon is nothing more then an extension of a mans morals, as it is he who decides what to wield the weapon for my friend. I need not say it to many, as many know. Conflict is ahead, it is in the air. Conflict that could touch all corners of the empire. Before it comes I need to prepare to defend the people, my people, your people. Our families, and should I require your service will you answer the call?" he asked with a firm sharp tone. He did not know when he may need Rhys, however those of moral standing is the commanders he needed to keep the mens moral high and there loyalty strong.

Rhys listened with intent, carefully listening tot he words Keldon spoke. He had always been in the mindset of "never here" but until the attacks on Narim and Paxia, both with frightening speed, indeed something could happen at anytime. Letting the words think in he thought.

"But leaving the men I have here wouldn't be very good for their morale if something was to happen. This would entail leaving the service of the city and serving under the Imperial banner, for the greater good, correct." he asked but he knew the answer to the question.

Keldon nodded his head. "Yes it would mean serving under the Imperial Banner as a solider under my command. However as for those in the guard, commanders change it is something a large city like Primus Gaudeo is expected in the guard. However if there are those who are exceptionally loyal to you then shall I issue the call to you, the call shall extend to them aswel. If there are to be battles fought then those who are loyal will be key." He said with a gentle smile from inside the serious vasad.

Rhys nodded "True, with the rotation of guards I haven't had too manyregualr guardsmen under my command. It is just the fact o leaving for another reason i guess, since I have changed command many time si just am hoping for a stable command. but i guess it is expected. Especially if I wanted to progres further to better provide. I would be willing to answer your call Keldon. My respect for you knows you wouldn't call upon someone personally unless you trusted them." he said.

Good, thought Keldon as Rhys spoke. "You would be correct, and my trust in both you and Yarrow is unwavering." he said with a nod. "Which brings me to my next subject, Paxia. My reason for being there is to rebuilt the city into a defendable military fortress along with the city, however I am also going to build a family estate, likely a small keep within the walls. It is a place where I know if things go wrong the family will be safe for sometime. I do not expect the family to help fund it, however any assistance would be welcomed since it is completely going to empty my personal funds."

Rhys nodded at the idea of a family manor. "Are you looking for some monetary help with the family project then?" said Rhys. If Keldon needed money, he could supply some help for.

"Are you looking for me to serve under you in Paxia then I assume?"

Keldon nodded his head with a brief smirk. "That I am my son that I am, I was never someone to ask for money easily." he said with a brief laugh and then nodded once more. "If I was to call you it would most likely to serve in Paxia, or something like it. Perhaps your former city, Archadoon. Although you would be an Imperial Commander instead of a local one."

"Well I can give some money to help with it then." said Rhys.

The thought of moving back to Archadoon was met with mixed feelings. "Well commanding in an old place would be nice." he said with a look of mixed feelings. "But if I was to command I would have to ask the same as I did when I became a member of the guard, commanding a large body of troops I wouldn't be comfortable. Maybe a little more than i currently command but nothing like the many thousands I started off with in Archadoon..yet anyway."

Keldon nodded. "Understandable, then I would not place you in command of the legion. As that is ten thousand or more men, however a section under my command staff could be useful." He said with a brief nod then a smile. "How many crowns care you afford to spare for the construction?" he asked.

Rhys thought over how much he could spare. "Well I'm sure I could give thre thousand for sure right now. I know I do have that enough to spare for the moment. Maybe some more once I check and be sure"

"So this place would be able to house us and some other family members, are their any other family members on your side?"

Keldon nodded his head. "Whatever you can offer is more then welcome Rhys, but yes there are several people in my family. There is Findecano Elsdragon and his wife who has four children and one I believe is married., Feria Elsdragon, Enelya, and Valencia Elsdragon." he said with a grin. "I am likely forgetting one or two. But yes this would be able to house the entire family and friends if need be."
