Sharinya & Dagrun Murrough (Private)
Ooc This thread is for the purpose of interaction between Sharinya and Dagrun Murrough only
IC:
She had returned from her home in the Dolwoods with a sparkle in her eye. If she had been prone to walking there probably would have been a spring in her step as well.
Morsefel was back and they were going get married! Now she supposed it would be appropriate to make a formal announcement along with all the other work she had piled up on her desk awaiting her attention.

That dapper Dwarf dandy, Dagrun Murrough, did dance his way down the Dolwoods until it was the day of his dalliance with the delightful dowager.
At the appointed time and place, Dargrun did knock on the door. "Serale, is anyone home? It is I, Dagrun Murrough of Clan Murrough."

Sharinya was rather surprised to hear that Dagrun had gone off for a walk in the Dolwoods. Winter was not a time to be out wandering around although he was a dwarf and he was of the Centripaxian clans. There was nothing for it if she wanted to speak with him.
Poking her head through around the door (not an easy feat for a Fae) she told her personal assistant (whose name she has forgotten) that she was going out for a short while and to let anyone know who asked that she would return soon.
Not wanting to stand on ceremony she flew through the open window and leaving the city walls behind her she headed towards the Dolwoods. It took some time before she found Dagrun seemingly knocking at her door.
”Serale Dagrun, what brings you this far from the city? I am rather surprised that you made it this far given the strange ways of the paths in the Dolwoods. Anyway come on inside I think there is room enough so long as we don’t go any further into Manse. she said waiting for him to open the door so they could both enter.
The house was warm after the chill of the winter air outside something to be thankful for on a cold day.
How have you been fairing Dagrun, have you come across any serious problems since you began as Chamberlain?” she asked while waving him to one of the few large people seats the room contained.

Dagrun blushed. "Well, as I may have mentioned once before, though born a dwarf, I spent most of my formative years with fae, fairys and elves, as I always felt more akin to the playful, joyous races than I ever did with the dour and surly dwarves. To sit and watch lithe muscular elves in tights dancing... ah, it is a sight worth seeing!"
He looked apologetically down at the ground. "It is a little embarassing. I know, for a Dwarf anyway, a passable amount about the Dolwoods, but ... I'm a wee bit claustrophobic and get totally lost 10 feet into a tunnel. Doesn't matter if it was built by Dwarves, Dark Elves or gophers-- I just have no sense of direction underground."
Dagrun shook his head at Sharinya's question. "Problems? No, not since my first day. On my first day on the job, I was new and not sure what I was doing, and was a wee bit arrogant with a Cuirassier guard that I felt wasn't more prominently standing by your side." He shrugged. "He was a nice fellow, and used to the ways of Dwarves, and he gave me a word to the wise. Since then, I've had no problems with anyone, and no one has had any complaints with me."
He tapped his fingers together. "Of course, this is deliberate on my part. I am right now going out of my way not to step on any toes. There is much to learn about Primus Gaudeo, Centripax, and until I am confident that I have learned the ropes, I am trying hard not to make any waves. The last thing you need is another problem child on your hands, and so I am doing my best right now to simply learn and observe."
Dagrun laughed. "And that's enough about me. I don't wish to be a bore. Tell me of you. How are you doing? How is your family? Any new relatives recently swoop into town? How is life in Centripax treating you?"

She listened with interest to what Dagrun was saying. She nodded her head slightly when he mentioned his claustrophobia. It was not something she had suffered from but she understood it could be debilitating in others.
”It is good that you are settling in.
My family is all well; that is they were the last time I saw or heard from the.” she paused looking thoughtful and wondering if now was the time to make a formal announcement of her engagement to Morsefal.
”Dagrun I would like you to be the first to hear my news…
Sir Morsefal Pah and I have become engaged and I would like you to make the formal announcement in The Herald.” she said pausing in case the dwarf had something to add.

Dagrun nodded. "All right, I will do so as soon as the seasons change next week. But first things first: first of all: CONGRATULATIONS!" Dagrun danced a little jig of celebration, squatting down and clapping his knees while his legs kicked out to the left then to the right.
Once he was over his initial excitement, he looked seriously at Sharinya. "Morsel who?" He waited for her to tell him something about her suitor, as he had no idea who or what she was talking about.

‘Sir Morsefal Pah; he is a Knight of Kel’rondar and has been my constant companion for some time now.’ She said with a happy tinkle to her voice.
‘He has been away for a short while and that is why you have not yet made his acquaintance.
I was going to ask that you make a formal announcement in the Herald and was also wondering if you would be available to organize the wedding.” she said, wondering how he would feel about doing such a task.
