Eighteenth Brightening of the Second Cycle in the Month of Aperitus in the Season of Spring; Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIII Post Fractum. The First Era of the Regency of Milo L'Evienne.
It was mid-brightening and Keldon had some spare time, he normally spent it reading several of the reports from various departments, letters citizens wrote to him, and other documents that could spark some interest for him, but his desk was rather empty for once. Leaning back into his chair he started to look around his office, eyes focused onto a small fly moving around the room near the entrance, he watched it only for a brief while until his mind started to wonder into thoughts of different things, his future here in Primus. He wondered if he was doing his job correctly, he wondered if the people thought well or ill of him, but his thoughts soon started to drift to Adriana and there future, how they kept playing the song and dance of courtship, he knew she felt for him as it was rather obvious by now. But neither of them had made any kind of formal approach towards one another, well there were several times they had but he didn't know how fast she wished to move through there relationship.
As he thought his eyes drifted around the room, rather pointless really as they were not focusing until a knock hit the door, and he returned to reality. It was his secretary, she was a interesting dwarf but never the less he told her to enter. She brought him a report on the trade movement from the city that she requested to borrow to copy for the records, she placed it on his desk and he greeted her with a warm welcome. He asked how her day was, she merely told him it was going fine, but slightly slower then she wanted. He told her if she was not to busy she was free to take a short walk to relax for a bit so long as it was not to lengthy with a brief smile she said her thanks and inform him she would take that into consideration. She left the room and left the door open as it was always. So Keldon resumed thinking about things until he noticed a book on the wall with a few pieces of paper sticking out of it's pages.
He went and opened the book reading it was about the province and history, which he already knew about. However it was about a specific group that was in service of the city, the Knights of Primus Gaudeo. He took the book back to his desk and started to read, and read he did. For a whole candlemark and a half he was not disturbed.. which was rather rare. But he took the chance and kept reading, he was interested in this group, some who were still alive and rather young, some who had there youth swear oaths of allegiance to the city and its thane, and no one else. It surprised him even more when several prominent nobles where on the list of those mentioned here. Who swore the allegiance of there entire house and line to the city.
Taking the book he went to his secretary and started to ask questions. Placing the book on her table he started to speak.
"Do you know anything about the Knights of Primus Gaudeo? Why is it they are not in service?" He would ask questions along those lines and afterwards should the answers be decent he would ask her how she would think the city would react to the Knights coming back into service
