[Speakers Office] - A Case of Mistaken Funding?

Keldon walked through the double doors, paying little attention to there size, as he had walked through many of the same size in the Concordia Incola since his appointment. The Hall of the Thane had the same, or perhaps even larger doors for its main entrance.

As he heard th dorin speak as he approached he smiled, "Serale," he said, not bothering mentioning his position as he assumed it was well known throughout the building who the man was, the single guard who was moderately dressed for a guard following in suit. "I have acutely come for some clarification into the soul that presently holds the office here. As there has been some suggestions that at present it rests in my hands and I have become rather curious as I have heard nothing about this role or a commitment from myself towards such a task. He said with a moderate smile.

It was true, Keldon had received several pay stamps within his personal account that he had instructed all financial deposits to be placed over the winter, he assumed they would be correct and he was going to be asked to pay the funds back, however since nothing was done about it he took it upon himself to get some clarification into the subject himself.

Keldon smiled and before the women could respond he placed some notes onto the counter infront of her. It contained records of the deposits from the cities finances into Keldons personal account along with the records for what the payment was for. "Should I be in this office or the finances? As this has made me unbelievably curious." Keldon said with a warm smile and a brief smirk.

The woman frowned at the records. "I suspect that there is some confusion Your Grace. The Concordia has been relatively unused recently, what with no appointed Speaker as such and several of the concordians being absent. However, I have to say that I've not been notified that you were appointed Speaker which in itself is curious considering the payments that you mention." She took her eyes off the records and sat back, looking up at him. "The finance people might be able to help, but I'd suggest, if you forgive me for the suggestion, going to the one person who can answer your question and then working back from there to sort out the confusion." She paused for the briefest of moments as though she expected him to know who she was talking about, but the manner in which she continued proved that she considered him, like most men, to be a little dim about these things and perhaps should keep themselves to what they were good at which was killing things and the like.

"The Governor is probably the person you should be talking to I think." Her smile was insincere, but warm enough for all of that.

Keldon nodded. "Very well thank you, I will have the funds transferred back into the correct accounts. I just wanted to double check as I was curious into what the title meant and if it was any type of duties towards myself." He said with a smile before leaving the office.
