Thanal Manor - Gathering of Justice
The 17th Brightening of Cryxatum. Spring of Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIII Post Fractum.
As the members made there way past the guards at the doors, and made there way into the sitting room of the great estate a servant would bring would request them to follow them into the main dinning hall. Leasing them down a wide hallway lined with paintings, flowers, and various pieces of expensive furniture.
Guards had been posted within the Estate, four stood guard in the sitting room spaced out along each wall and two standing over the Thanes private office to ensure a higher level of security. Only two guards stood along the walls in the hallway, keeping the protection there far lesser then the sitting room.
As they entered the main dinning room the long wooden table shawn beautifully as the polished wood stood in the center of the room. No plates, or anything sat on the table. Pieces of paper, pens, ink had been put infront of each of the twenty seats that had been left at the table. Leaving ample room between each person. Along the eastern wall was a smaller table containing some refreshments, ranging from water, milk, wine, various wisky, and juices. Every meter and a half a small arrangement of lowers stood guard in its own right. Various lillys, tulips, and exotic flowers.
Above the table were two great chandeliers sending gleaming light throughout the entire room. Last was the guards standing watch over the room. A total of ten guards stood in the great room, two at the north and south walls. Three spaced out along the wast and east walls.

Yarrow eyed her men up with a critical eye and they knew it. They look good anyway. Yarrow thought and smiled to herself before turning to her Thane for direction. She had no idea what part she needed to play this evening. Certainly she was in charge of the lovely looking guards that dotted the estate in their best attire and best faces, but what else was she to do tonight? I guess I just need to watch and see what needs to be done. She decided.
"Is there any place you wish me to sit, sir?" Yarrow asked the thane quietly so that the other guests could not hear. She could sit at his right as his protector, but that might upset someone else who wanted to sit closer to the thane perhaps. I will just have to wait and see... She told herself once more.

Keldon shook his head to Yarrows question. "No Captain that is quite alright, and for the duration of the meeting you may consider yourself a member of the legion of justice and not the captain of the estates guard. I do not think you will need to be giving orders to anyone, but if the need's arises then by all means do so." Keldon looked around the room and towards the table. "You may sit at my side if you wish, I have not thought much about the seat arrangement as we are all equals here. The only reason why I am taking the head of the table, because this is my home." Keldon said with a warm smirk.

Yarrow nodded her head and slid into a chair and waited for the meeting to begin. I wonder where Rhys is. Yarrow thought to herself, looking at the door. She thought that he would be here by now, but this was not the case. He probably got tied up at the office. Yarrow helped herself to a glass of water and took a deep drink from it while she waited others to follow her in.

Marria had arrived the brightening before and had gotten up early to make sure she had given herself enough time to dress and make her way to the hall. As she walked towards were the meeting was to take place, she took notice of the scenery around her. The estate has definitely been decorated with a flair for beauty and distinction. Finally she arrived at the hall door.
She opened it and walked inside. Yarrow was already in attendance as well as a man that she assumed from his disposition as the Thane himself. She looked at both of them with her emerald eyes sparkling.
She had arrived to the meeting in a blood red, flowing gown with a black brocade design down the front and the back. Her dark auburn hair was up in a twist and a few ringlets of hair fell down around her face.
"Serale." She said to both of them to announce her arrive. "I am Marria de Lupetta, Countess of the House of Verenis and a member of the Legion of Justice from the Enamorian Province."
She looked at Yarrow and smiled.
"I have had the pleasure of meeting the captain last evening, but you sir, I assume would be the Lord Thane Elsdragon." She said as more of a statement than a question.
She was intrigued by how handsome the Thane was. She had not asked much about him before she set off for the meeting, so her first impression had definitely made a statement. She waited for a moment before she spoke again.
"It is a pleasure to be here my Lord..."Marria said and then she curtsied and then took a seat at the table. She hoped that the other members would arrive soon.

Keldon smiled towards Marria as she spoke. His hair flowed down his doublet slowly as he stood there waiting patiently for her to finish. Captain Woodruff standing beside him. "THE Lord Thane..." the sentence ran through his head as he smiled. "Suppose so.." he thought, he had never really though of himself as "The" anything.
Keldon bowed his head to her as a sign of respect. As society went his title, and position placed him higher then herself on the social status. Even with her nobility being by blood, he held the title of Lord in the hierarchy which was above countess. Although details like that had yet to cross Keldons mind. "Serale Countess Lupetta, your statement would be quite correct. I am Lord Keldon Elsdragon, Thane of this lovely city."
Keldon moved his body to face her's a little more. His hair falling down behind him revealing his skin, and full facial features. As Marria had already seen he was rather attractive. But as he moved to some it was with utmost grace. He smiled warmly his teeth showing ever so slightly. "And it is a pleasure to have you here Countess. The future of the faction shall be decided this day, and what direction we go will rest on your shoulders, and the shoulders of all our members."
Instead of waiting to give Yarrow a chance to say anything else he went forward into his own question. As she was in his employ he felt he had the ability to do so. Even though he had told her to disregard the fact. "So Countess, how was your travel from Enamoria... Port Alyxandrya if I remember our records correctly."

Yarrow smiled at the recognition given to her. She had indeed showed the woman to her room last night, but had not known the female had held such a title. Countess Lupetta... Yarrow stored the name into her memory for latter. She sat back and listned to the conversation going on around her.
"So Countess, how was your travel from Enamoria... Port Alyxandrya if I remember our records correctly." Port Alyxandrya... I've heard of the city, but have never gone.

Marria looked at both of them and smiled widely.
"Please, my name is Marria. I rarely use my title for anything but signing paperwork." She said and then she responded to Keldon's question about her travel.
"My trip from Port was uneventful as expected. It is a pleasure to be here however." She said and then she looked at Keldon. "After all, I have never been to Primus Gaudeo. It is a remarkable city from what I have seen."
She paused for a moment and looked at Yarrow. It was nice to see that another woman would be in attendance at this meeting. Of course, she knew that Sitandria would probably be here as well, but for now, she only knew that woman by name and not by face.
"Do you expect the others soon?"

As if entering on the cue of Marria's words, Draekial made his way into the large chamber. He had been taking in the city and taking up his usual practice in the arts of his father. The sheer number of guards who had been called forth for this occasion astounded him, as he had never seen another Thanal Manor with such a force. Surely a small platoon took up residence on the grounds of the Manor. From his own estimates it seemed that they had as many guards here as he had commanded in the Souther Quarter of Vortex. The thought was slightly discomforting, to say the least. The funny thing about the whole situation was that he was actually pondering the budget of so many men, rather than the actual threat they would pose to anyone making an attempt on the thane's life. Just another instance to support the fact that he was an odd one.
Upon entering and scanning the faces in the room, he immediately recognized two of the occupants, but not the other. Making a simple, yet respectful bow he stepped forward and introduced himself. "Elder Kadrakai, at the service of the Legion. Captain Yarrow, Lord Thane Elsdragon." He nodded once to the two with whom he had already been acquainted. "I do hope that I have not arrived too late." He smiled weakly and took the seat which was nearest the door and the one which was likely to be the furthest from the others. He chose this seat for a number of reasons, but mostly just because he wanted to be able to better observe all the others at the table and get some gauge of their general character. He shifted about until his tail found a comfortable position and his wings were no longer crushed between he and the seat. Hoping to distract the others from the spectacle he must have made, he quickly brought up another subject. "I take it we are waiting for Elders Sitandra and Godah?"

"I do hope that I have not arrived too late." Yarrow nodded back and smiled from her seat and watched him take a seat. "You aren't late, sir." Yarrow told him kindly. "I take it we are waiting for Elders Sitandra and Godah?" Yarrow did not know these people, but she knew one more needed to be added to the list of people who were coming and that made her frown. "And Captain Rhys." I wonder where he is. She thought again, glancing towards the door.

The directions the guardsman had given him hadn't been too terribly complicated. He opened the door and slipped in, he didn't know whether he was late or not. As he looked around, he defintly wasn't late.
He spied the trio of Keldon, Yarrow and another woman talking. He approached over slowly as not to disturb the conversation going on. As he moved he stood next to Yarrow and waited.

Keldon smiled and nodded his head. "Very well Marria, I thought I would take the liberty to address you by the title that was granted to you, but you could not be farther from correct. Primus Gaudeo is a wonderful, and remarkable city. It reminds me each day of the blessing bestowed upon me to govern such a city." He said with a smile as he watched Draekial enter the room giving him a brief nod in his direction as he moved forward, "No Elder Draekial you have not arrived late, in fact we are just starting to gather it seems, but please take a seat, everyone by all means lets sit down and discuss things while we wait for everyone to arrive." Keldon said with a smile motioning for the chairs as he started to move towards his chair he bagan to speak. "But to answer your question Marria, Draekial, we are indeed waiting on Elder Sitandra and Godah, and perhaps any other members who elect to attend. Otherwise we shall move forward once the two missing Elders arrive."

Marria looked at Keldon with her piercing emerald eyes and she smiled.
"I am merely a servant to the crown my lord and wish to be addressed as a citizen and not as an aristocrate. I appreciate the gesture, but we are all equals here. Yes?" She said and then she smirked.
With that she turned and looked at the newest member of this little gathering. She had never seen him before, but knew that she would never forget the experience.
"Pleasure to meet you." She said and then she sat down and listened as Keldon spoke of waiting for the two elders to arrive.

Yarrow smiled openly as Rhys entered the room. "There you are." She said to him and gestured toward an open seat near her. "You aren't late, don't worry." She told him, but he was probably figuring that out since there were two more yet to arrive. Her attention then returned once more to the thane who was the leader here in all things...even though there was much talk about equality, Yarrow knew that he was the leader here.

Sitandria entered the room, her feet carried her with the graceful steps that were so common in elven society. She stopped at the entrance, her brown eyes scanning the room and the people: A Large, black dracon caught her eyes and she smiled shortly toward him. During her time in Archadoon she had grown used to Dracons, but still she wasn't found of them. Her eyes glanced at the two human females next to him: one with copper hair, tanned skin and large silver eyes and the other with fancy clothes, auburn hair and piercing emerald eyes. Next, Sitandria's eyes moved to the average-looking human male with brown hair and green eyes. The young female smiled a little. He didn't look bad...
The half-elf female struggled her shoulder. Now it wasn't time for games, but maybe later, if they would have some time to themselfs... A short soft smile appeared on her lips as she turned to the other man in the room, a strong-looking elf who she had met before. "Serale, Keldon. I am happy to see that you are still in one piece. How was your trip to Prime?" She really wanted to know that but she guessed he wouldn't be answering her right now, if ever. It was a touchy subject, after all...
Looking around her, the young female frowned a little "We have more members? Where are they?" She took the list of members and glance at it, frowning again "We have 18 member and I have managed to catch 14 in my letters. But I see only 6 in this room..."
Sitandria looked around her and signed deeply "I guess we will have to wait till more will arrive before we start the meeting. Oh, I didn't introduced myself yet..." the young woman smiled and pulled back her light-brown hair "I am Sitandria, the Guild Treasurer and... Well, since Jaki left her post, I guess I am also the Guild Secretary."
