Brightening 23 of the Second Cycle in the Month of Immanis
Keldon sat at his desk early in the morning. The following night was spent meeting with two lovely people. Rhys and Yarrow, two people he had decided to trust with positions within his guard, with senior ranks and duties. It was perhaps not the most important decision he would have to make as Thane but it could have some rather high repercussions with his guard commander never the less.
He took out some ink and a piece of paper. Today was going to be extreamly busy, he already had a long stack of paper coming to his desk at regular intervals. But he needed to inform his guard commander about the decision he had made the previous night.
Quote:
Commander Careddyn
I would arrive to speak to you in person, however it has become violently busy so I am forced to inform you of a decision made the night before. As stated within our meeting I intend to bring several changes about within the city including testing a new structure within the guard.
I was introduced to two experienced commanders from another city who were visiting the city. In our conversation I had decided to offer them positions within the city guard in a more senior level. As such I have decided they both shall serve in more experimental roles within the city.
Yarrow Woodruff, and Rhys Telan are granted the title of Captain within the city guard. Rhys Telan, is charged with command of the Southern District. Yarrow Woodruff, is charged with the security of the Thanal Estate and my office in the government district. Both these appointments can be rescinded if you believe them at anymore to be incompetent. I however have faith in them, but as it is your guard if you do not want them on your staff the decision to remove them after my appointment is at your discretion.
Regards,
Lord Elsdragon

Keldons signature was signed below his name, and the seal of Primus Gaudeo in the lower right corner to signify the document had indeed come from his office.
He rose from his desk and went to the clerk that sat outside his office and handed it to her instructing her to send it to the commander of the guard immediately.
