OOC: In hopes of reducing the risk of inadvertently overlooking various official correspondence addressed specifically to the Thane, I’d like to request that all those letters be posted here so that they can be contained in one thread that I will check regularly. Please include an appropriate TS and if at all possible, include a link to the location where a reply would be best returned. Thanks.

Keldon sat at his marble desk looking around his office. His mind was now drifting towards Paxia and the people who he once served. He still felt a obligation towards them, the fact that he left the city to seek a higher position was because he felt he could best assist the Empire and the people from the second largest city in the Empire.

He was learning back in his chair, his feet promoted up on the table. His mind wandering. He quickly sat forward and took out a parchment and pen, and began to write.

To his Imperial Excellency Marquis Jenius de Merchante, Director General of Arium

Greetings your Excellency,

I am writing you this missive to request permission to act on a impluse of my concionse, to fullfill a oath I gave to the people of your province when I took office, the oath to help them when they need it.

As I am sure you are aware by now, sometime ago I left the city of Paxia following its attack to seek something greater then myself with only a hope to obtain it, yet I am here now in my office writing you this letter.
The people of Paxia are dear to my heart, and I wish to assist them in anyway. Following the war the city sustained major damage and will take sometime to heal and repaire.

Thus I would request your permission to dispatch part of my city guard, and civial servants to assist in the rebuilding of the city. I ask nothing in return, the city of Primus Gaudeo will finicnce there traval and expenses within the city of Paxia along with finical aid for the city and the assistance of the personal that is dispatched.

Once your permission is obtained for me to send aid to the city I will send the orders out and have them dispatched. I will order the preperation of the aid after this letter is sent off, so that if you do grant me permission the assistance can leave immediatly.

To his Grace, Keldon Elsdragon, does his Imperial Excellency the Director General of Arium, Defender of the Great Mountains and Master of Solace Isle, Marquis Jenius de Merchante offer his greetings.

I hope this letter finds you and yours well. My reports of the mess in Paxia are rather extensive and I must congratulate you on your efforts there. It seems my faith in you was not badly placed.

Regardless of this, Arium is aware of the fortress Centripax has built on our borders. We are aware of this affront and we have tolerated it. The Governor realizes that certain parties in your government at the time held the mistaken belief that it would be possible to restore Chesley to its former glory. As such we have tolerated this, because we ourselves have extremists in our Government who would like nothing more than to take Primus Gaudeo in the name of Arium.

However, as long as this citadel remains staffed by soldiers of Centripax, any soldiers from Centripax entering our domain will be seen as an act of war.

To his Imperial Excellency, Director General of Arium Marquis Jenius de Merchante. From his Grace Lord Keldon Elsdragon, Thane of Primus Gaudeo.

Greetings your Excellency, I wish to thank you for your comments towards my actions in Paxia, and that your faith was not misplaced. I wish I could of done more for the city and for the province of Arium. However my aspirations in life and goal to help the people of the Empire beckons me to the seat of Government here in Primus Gaudeo.

I know very little of the details that you speak of, but I do intend to look into the subject with more detail, as at present the state of the Empire needs strength and unity coming from the Cities, and Provinces. Along with its Government's. If there is a way my position can assist in lowering the tension between our two provinces then I shall do everything within my power to do so.

However this request to send aid to Paxia does not come from the Provincial Government, it comes from the city of Primus Gaudeo, and the hearts of it's people. Paxia holds a place in my heart that will never leave, the brave men and women I stood side by side within the Citadel defending there very own lives, the lives of there children, wives, mothers, sister, those who they care about.

Thus I still wish to send aid to Paxia, more supplies then military aid. But if the protection of the citizens are needed and Arium requires it's military might elsewhere during these pressing time. I will allocate a section of the local guard to reinforce the ranks of your own. But to assure you that this aid is not there with hostile intent I will be more then willing to issue orders that for the duration of there stay within, or around the city of Paxia they are to abide by the Chain of Command set within the Province.
This will allow a temporary boost in the re-construction of the city and aid of the people.

You Excellency, but intent is to not push the dust up between our two Provinces, but to find a solution that will help the people of the Empire, and for the time being I wish to assist those of Paxia. If you still do not wish to have guards and supply resources from Primus Gaudeo then I understand and shall respect your boarders, but if you should ever need assistance then please do not hesitate to send a messenger to me and I will dispatch them at once.

Until I hear from you I will keep the reliveal efforts on stand-by.

Perhaps I was not clear the last time I sent a letter to you. Any, any soldiers answering to Centripax, be it the Province or its Capital, setting foot on Arium soil will be taken as an act of war and will be responded to accordingly.

I write to you this day in regards to a trade possibility. Last era Mystique started a cattle drive, which it sent to a select few cities. This coming spring we wish to change this. We wish spread the cattle drive and brining it to more cities. For this purpose do I write to your person.

I was curious if you would be interested in Mystique and Zinn’Sunn’s Cattle drive stopping at the city of Primus Gaudeo and selling some of its cattle.

Greetings Thane Myrsa,

I write to you in response to your letter to my office in regards to a potential trade possibility in Primus Gaudeo. I must admit it has been sometime since I have laid eyes on a cattle drive, and from what I hear it is no small undertaking.

I would welcome your drive to the city of Primus Guadeo, although I am hesitant in allowing it to enter the city walls itself. This is only for my concern on the sheer number of citizens out and about in the general roadways, and a large amount of cattle crowding the streets could cause a situation I would not look forward to dealing with. Evening with proper escort it would create a problem I am sure.

However I would be more then happy to have your cattle drive just outside the Southern Gates to the city as that would be a prime location for all those entering and leaving the city to view the cattle. Although it would have to be slightly off the main road as to not hinder the merchant caravans, and I would request some assurance that a major problem in regards to the obvious aroma a large amount of cattle would generate would not cause a large problem with the citizens of the southern district.


On a more personal note I would like to request a meeting with you in Primus Gaudeo in regards to the Sacred Circle and the Legion of Justice. As I presently hold the title of Founder of the new Circle, and have recently been appointed Grand Marshal and new leader of the Legion of Justice I would like to arrange some type of agreement between our two organizations to work together.

Since my first enlistment into the Legion in Kalendryas I have spoken to Roland in regards to several things, which apparently has rubbed off as he has chosen me to be his successor.

The first thing I intend to do is give the Legion a stable foundation, and thus have decided instead of opening guild halls throughout the Empire at a single moment. We are going to establish a Headquarters were we can focus our efforts and then expand. With my position in the city of Primus Gaudeo as it's Lord Thane. It would be best to establish it there, I have already begun the search for a suitable compound.

But with this comes a need for funds to purchase all the things nesscary in establishing the Legion and laying its foundation. Thus the reason for this letter comes out. I am requesting donations from all of the Legions Members, it can be of any sum. Much of the spending will be coming from my own personal accounts, however any assistance in funding will be most appreciated.
