Introductions!
Serale!
Its funny, but, I came across Aelyria while randomly surfing through wikipedia. I spent some time looking over the website and definitely like what I see! I'm a first time player and am looking to find a place to start out. I saw the thread about cities needing players and will start out there. The guidebook wasn't very clear (or maybe I'm not reading it correctly -which is probably the case), but, does my character start w/ a one room hovel in any city?
My character is human and he's just starting out on his own (I'm looking forward to, hopefully, many years of fun adventuring).

Seriously, no worries man. Actually, that sounds like something I would do!
Names aside though, this is a great environment full of helpful, intelligent people. Don't be afraid to ask questions, pretty much everyone is friendly here.

Serale and welcome to Aelyria.
The default starting stuff is:
* 500 gold crowns
* 1 Dagger
* 1 Deed to a humble home in city of choice (or another 1000 crowns, giving you 1500 in total)
* Set of clothes
* 5 Flasks of Water
* 5 Rations of Food
* 1 Family Heirloom (can't be sold)
* 1 Visa (=ID)
For more tweaking you can contact your local GM for a starting package.
