Time for a job (House of Hidden Dreams)
Sitting in his half-ruined Southern Quarter hovel, the rogue looked down at his withering coin purse. He had enough crowns to survive on, but that was not enough for the former noble. He had been a rogue for more than 30 patterns now, and was used to the abscence of wealth. However, he was doing nothing better with himself as of now, so why not try and find a job?
And he knew just the place to look to first...
Being upon the surface of Vortex on and off for many patterns now, Kalenel had surely known the reputation of the House of Hidden Dreams. Although he had not the whole story, he knew one could have a really good time there. Leaving the majority of his crowns hidden away, he placed the dagger at it's familiar spot upon his belt. Not skipping a beat, he threw his worn and thinned black cloak over his shoulders, also placing its hood over his head. He was out of the door and en route to his destination in no time, hoping to return home with crowns or at least the promise of them in the future. Oh, how far he had fell since his nobility...
Knowing the backstreets and alleyways of Vortex better than most, he had the entrance in sight in no time. The mansion was normal looking from the outside, but the young Kalenel knew that description ended there. Giving the young upon the porch a smirk and a nod, Kalenel preceded to face the guards. He had a dagger on him, but would that matter in a place like this?
"Serale," Kalenel said smoothly, removing the hood from his head and revealing his deep crimson eyes. His face was as chisled and handsome as any other vysstichi in Vortex, Har'oloth too. "Is the master of this place available?" The young prince asked elequently, hoping to coax the guards to show him directly to her. Whether or not that happened, Kalenel peered directly into the faces of the guards, wavering not at all.
