Wandering the City
Molmoch did his best to shade his eyes from the brightness of the day. It was always hard to do things in the daylight; nighttime was so much more convenient. He strolled the streets, being alert for pickpockets and cutpurses. He had a few places he needed to find.
First, he had to find an inn to stay at. He had enough currency on him to afford something quite nice, so definately something a cut above average was in order.
Second, he wanted to locate a library in town. His research into arcana had taught him a lot of things about magic, but a new city might have new information, especially one known for its dark arts.
Finally, he wanted to find the graveyard. It was an off hope, but perhaps a night time visit to the graveyard might gain some interesting meetings.
He had no idea how to meet someone to teach him necromancy, but he suspected that they would find him with some proper searching and some extremely careful inquisition.

As most knew, the Golden Dragon Inn and Tavern was the finest and most popular place in town to find drinks or lodgings. It was just off the mercantile district and was only a quarter candle mark walk from where he stood. Given that it was light out, only the most dedicated drunks were present in the tavern area. Not even the usual bouncer stood in his way to check all his weapons, but the sign still advised that he leave any at the door. It took some moments before the lone waitress in the tavern noticed him and came to give welcome. "Serale fine sir, what can I do for you? Need some wine or ale? Maybe a room for a cycle?" She looked eager to go drop off some empty mugs, but she waited patiently with a pleasant smile on her face.

Securing Lodging
Being from out of town, Molmoch was quite pleased to find an inn that was relatively close by that seemed to be worthy of his stay. Despite his misgivings about stopping his search for the library, he found himself strangely drawn to go towards the inn.
A critical eye passed over the inn, even as he was greeted by a smiling barmaid. He had the funds to stay in a nice place, and was not about to compromise on that, having heard stories of fleas and rats in less reputable inns.
Serale. I am looking for lodging for a cycle or two. Do you have any openings, and what is your rate?

As he read, the woman rushed off to serve some impatient regulars. She returned only moments after he had finished his scanning of the list. "I should say that a common room is what you'll want if you don't want to deal with vermin, and thieves. The common room may be shared if we're full up, but it's mostly just merchants who stay in them anyway. Would you like me to reserve anything for you, Mr.?" She smiled again and took out a piece of charcoal and a small bound booklet to write out anything he required.
