The light from the three suns of Telath reflected brightly from the huge polished marble building that was the Imaden School of Higher Learning. Recently relocated from the much smaller, dome-shaped affair that housed the original School, the new facility was now much more of a proper campus. It reared high and magnificent into the sky, towering over the rest of the town. It was situated atop a slight rise of land, and the additional height only served to make the building more grand than it actually was. The School could easily be seen from outside the gates.
Miniature spires, gleaming with the air of a building recently constructed and not as yet subjected to wear and ageing, protruded from various corners of the enormous construction. They shone like a newly-minted crown free of fault and blemish, and were topped off by flapping penants displaying the provincial colours of gold and blue. Along the Eastern face a pair of enormous ornate wooden doors were set into the masonry, each easily more than a full storey in height. These were merely for decoration and ceremonial puposes however - set into each one were smaller, more practical doors cunningly crafted into the grand affairs themselves.
Through the doors was a wide hall, well-lit with torches coated in a light layer of incense. A pleasing aura of warmth, light and scent filled the area from wall to wall, creating a great feeling of contentment within the soul. This was slightly offset by the huge crowds that moved throughout the hall, but then again this was predicted and rumoured to be the largest and greatest place of learning in the province - maybe even the Empire itself!
