This spot was toward the more upscale part of Vers, with mansions and knicknack stores and all manner of tight, busy, lovely places. It was in the middle of a circle of tiny shops, with the street filled with ubiquitous white cobblestones partitioning it in a circular way.
The building itself was round as well with a pleasant tapering spire reaching upward to paw at the sky. It was reminiscent of the great Dianic cathedrals, with its filigree and its strange delicacy. Its doors were arched, double, and heavy, and the school’s name was etched about the doorway.
Inside it was dim, reaffirming the notion that this was like some temple. The room was small enough, taking up the entire area of the first floor. There was a single spiral staircase leading both up and down, with a break in the guardrails where one could step on. Behind the stairs there was a desk where a teenaged human girl sat, her blonde hair tied back with a rather cheery façade. She wore a yellow kimono, one of the mock mage robes that were so very common in this city where magic ruled. Behind her, there was a wall mural of a radiant robed fae lady sitting on a leaf, a beatific smile on her face. Despite the expulsion of the fae, the city officials had allowed the school to keep their decorative painting on the wall with only a little bit of protest.
There was a cloth draped over the desk, white and silken, and the side that faced the entrance was embroidered with black thread:
