A nomad settles
The road of the traveler had become too tough for McGowan to continue , and he felt it was time to settle down in a city. Though he would still take part in as much adventure a rogue like him could handle , he wanted a place to return to.
He purchased a new home in Vers. It was small but he didn't expect much as he had little money. It was a typical half timbered home built by filling the spaces of a beamed frame in with loam. The house with two floors was taller than it was wide , an odd looking home. The door was a solid dark oak.
The inside was of a simple layout . As one walked in the door they would see a stair case in front of them , a bathroom to the left and a dining room to the right . In the bathroom was a large circular wooden tub that was heated with coals, and a lavatrine that led under the house draining into the sewer.
In the Dining room was a simple table able to sit four , fireplace with kettle for water , and cabinets
If one was to climb the stairs they would find a room with a small bed , a desk and bookshelves. with a small window that let sunlight in above the headboard of the bed.
