Walk the Line (Basic Mechanist Training)
Daybreak. The Second of Junctior in the Season of Fall, Era XIV Post Fractum
The triangular structure before the outlaw near blotted out the sky with three pronged spiralling towers that plucked out it's golden pupil like a fork. Mikhail Vashael was almost impressed, but found his taste ran more to the traditional if he bothered to have one. Clearing his throat, the human entered the building through a large glass door while his mood didn't bother to improve much at all.
Reaching the lobby front desk, the man's blank features waited in unreaction while his mind mulled over second and third thoughts. Nodding quietly the man spoke.
"Good Brightening. I'm looking for a private trainer concerning the science of applied mechanics."
The Vagaran's curt statement did little to assure himself such a strange place could actually provide him with the knowledge necessary. If he didn't have prior business in the Confederation, he would not have made the trip at all. Such places were for intellectuals and people buried so deep in books they couldn't see the color of money.. What he needed was someone who was on the level, a practicality and direction akin to his own.. hmph. Perhaps simply a sense of pragmatism would be a good place to start. Any connection to his own principles would be wishful thinking here.
