Peer Moderation and Self Moderation
Before any Peer Moderation or Self Moderation threads are started, you must get permission from the GM assigned to Taralon.
Shop threads may be Self Moderated so long as it is limited to purchasing a listed item at the listed price.
If in doubt, PM the GM.

(if requests like this should not be posted here, please delete)

Go for it.
A schedule of posted arcana practice will maintain your proficiency, it will not add experience points.
A Mage who does not post arcana practice is more likely to have a spell go awry or fail completely. (Use it or lose it.)

Take a look at
http://www.playbypost.com/forums/taralo...-overview.html
you will find that in Taralon, weapons training is provided only for members of the Golden Scales or the Provincial Army.

Since you're enlisting you can start a Gladius training in the [Training Fields] just outside of Taralon. Use a random Drill Sergeant to train you, gladius isn't a standard weapon of the Provincials but the basics are quite similar to longsword, if you focus more on the thrust than in the slash that is. The parries and guards are almost the same. If you need some info regarding how to hold/use/take care of a sword just ask, I kinda know it all IRL and I am posting this in a break between two duels heh, I found this awesome cyber cafe in this little town I am working on. Anyway, check the Provincials to get your training, then you can either self-mod it or ask for moderation in here.

Gotcha!! I got the knowledge IRL on how to use both shield and gladius along the lines of how the Romans performed, and that is how I'm saying Tasad was trained in Olympia. And oh yes, got to go for the stab, slashing isn't very effective if the opponent has any decent armor on!!

Thank you.
Tasad
Set up a separate thread. When you are to have the training approved, give me a nudge.
