Bistik & Gauf (self mod)

Basic Smithing

IC: Gauf stand in a corner of a small room, next to him was a furnace along with few ores and equipment needed to smith. Bistik approach the dwarf and said confidently "I'm ready for the training". Gauf replied in an impatient tone in his voice "Why are you late? No matter, let's get this over with for the day" Gauf quickly pass a piece of ore to bistik and said "First thing first, learn have to 'purify' the ores and make them into bars. You not going to get anywhere trying to make something out of ore".

Gauf sits down and grab a piece of ore and told Bistik to watch as he show him how to do it. Gauf pop the ore into the furnace professionally and takes it back out with skill and start to bang the ore with the hammer while it's still hot, after an hour he finished making and 'purifying' the ore and made it into a piece f rectangular bar. Gauf shoved the bar to bistik and said "take a look, this is the finished version. You can sell it like this or make it into something more usefull for more profit. Now you try!"

Bistik sits down while shaking a bit, his confidence has depleted. Bistik started to work the ore and by the time he is finished, the are dents all over it alongs with chips and all sorts of things on it as well. Gauf was getting a little bit annoyed and frustrated and then he took a deep breath and said "Try it one more time! this time put some more effort into it!"

After the third try, bistik made a pretty fair bar. Gauf showed a little smile at his apprentice's accomplishment, he checked outside and shouted "Oh it's dark outside, i need to go to sleep, we will continue this lesson tommorow ok?" Bistik nodded in agreement and bow at Gauf and quickly left the room.
