Soon Lorre was lead to the other part of the warehouse that the tunnels were being dug at. Lorre smiled Well, here we are again more training it seems. You asked to speak with me so do so if you want. Also we will c ontinue your stealth training now. Also tell me what you have learned thus far in the arts of stealth." Lorre than stood patiently waiting for Dego to respond...

“Forgive me if this seems out of place, and I do not mean to question you but I do have my doubts master. These tunnels, the work is hard, and suicide. We worked for hours and got nearly nowhere. I don’t so much mind it, as I know it will be an invaluable recourse to the guild. What does concern me though is this new structure to the guild. When first brought in to this family I met the one of great powers, now he seems gone not even supporting his creation, instead it is left in the hands of fools. I barely know how to handle my sword, had it not been for another in the fight against the Elves I may be dead now because of my recklessness, and yet I am expected to help lead this organization. I do not understand, but if this is how it is to be, I will do so. I made the pledge to the guild that I would serve it till the day of my death. I left my entire life in Nexus to come live in this, this city if you could call it that. Their military is weaker then we are, nearly all of them falling to thugs. I say thugs because I have seen how true Vysstichi fight, and that was not it. Afterall, in Nexus we lived above their city, and they were abundent, but in this area I have seen none, even of my own kind, and this makes me feel all the more out of place.

However all of this can be explained and improved. The parts that bother me the most are the jobs, the lifestyle, and the members. I do not trust this Aradin, I do not know politics, as I have never had time for them, and he is valuable that is fine, but I know the look of hate, and I see it burning deep within him toward certain members. The principles I first learned of the guild is that we are not a place of hate or discrimination, but rather of equal justice. The other thing is the job and lifestyle. I know how to engrave metal, beyond fighting that is it. I joined as to become an assassin for the guild. The bringer of justice, not a metal smith living a double life. I enjoyed learning under master steakly in nexus that is why I stayed at it, but I trust no other to teach me his art, as I would trust no other then you to teach me fighting. These are my concerns, but if you think it is best I take out loans and start a minor metal working company then I will do so, you are my teacher and I look to you for guidance.

As for the stealth, you have taught me to walk lightly on the balls of my feet using only my legs. To keep my back straight and to stay focused. I make light footfalls, and shift weight only after my stance is firm.”

Lorre grinned and understood completely how he felt. Lorre then spoke as though a mentore or grandpa would with his words of challange and encouragement "Well, lets get Aradin straight. he is a type of noble I guess we can say, and they unfortunately carry a type of pride an aerogance. I know of his hatred as well I would not allow him to hurt anyone, not on my watch. However, he needs reason to trust you dego. I Ask you to look through the eyes of one who understand, and a peace maker. Aradin was raised hating the races he hates. I know it is not an excuse, but he knows nothing else. Give reason to trust, and that will fade."

Loree then thought about the tunnels and explained "ah yes the tunnels their constuction is to much a upper hand to quit Dego. We are making progress, and that sall that counts. I don't care if its a foot or several inches a day. They will be built, and the idea that sit suicide is what we want everyone except us to believe. '

Lorre then sighed when he heard the masked one being spoke about "Yes, the masked one he is my best friend, and me his. However, he can not be with us for now. You see Dego we were once part of the House of Whispers, but 7 of us left after we found out they were doing foul experiments with people. Trying to mix arcana, and various other arts to create hybrid humans or something rather. None succeeded of course...accept for the masked done. I would say he was the one that mostly succeeded. He is in between the realms right now moving about trying to keep his sanity when one day day he will return."

he then tried to reason with Dego " Yes, the Abestat military is quite weak which is why we are here Dego. Try to view things more than for what they are. You see us alone through hit and run activity and acts of espionage could conquer Abestat from inside out quite easily. Truth is you saved them back there against the Vyssie the GU did really. Aradin will come to power, and we will rule commerce. In the end we will be growing the military, and make this a city to behold. Now this city is not Nexus thats for sure. However, this city was not created for warriors in mind really. It is a city of fishing, commerce, and festivities. A very different mentality. However, mix that with some good old Nexus war mongering and the city will be quaint in my opinion."

Lorre then listened to Dego and about his metal work teacher "Ah yes I do remember that person. Hmmm good soul indeed, but do not limit yourself to think that person was the only good one. We mus t learn to change all the time Dego or we lose. I encourage you to seek out further training in that art, and yes please open a new business. Hmmm my advice is to go to the blacksmith, and ask if he needs an engraver...thats what you are right? I am sure he will work out some kind of business deal or co venture. "

Lorre then closed with the following "Do not worry about the GU. i would not thrus t you into ta full a ctive leadership role just yet. You will be trained to be quite a fierce assassin. Your hand of justice, and quick killing will be worked dup in you in time no doubt. The Gu is strong with thousands working for it as you speak. Have faith, and understanding we need commerce, and we need trained men. You are doing this just have patients and cast away your doubts. However, I am glad e you came and spoke with me..."

Lorre then waited to see if he anything else to say before they wen ton with stealth lessons...

“Very well, as always your wisdom greatly outnumbers mine. I will head to the blacksmith tomorrow and talk to him about a job. Surly when he sees my work he will no doubt be impressed. Steakly sure enough was. I appreciate your honesty with me lorre, and I will watch over Aradin. I shall gain his trust as you direct.”

Dego didn’t know who the house of whispers were, more than likely a group like the GU. His teachers comforting words though helped set his heart at rest. Between working in the forge, digging a hole, and training it seemed that he was going to be to busy for sleep all over again. Dego liked that idea, less time to worry about problems.
