SF Ryuujin (Basic: Battle Axe-Dual Wield)

[Spock]

Crosis nodded as it did not answer his question really "well see here that axe you put does not tell me what you want to learn. I can not do everything for you Mr. Ryuujin. Tell you what I will put you done for one handed battle axe. It has one axe edge so its not double. However, i will also put you down for dual wield." Crosis then checked the ID, and nodded. He wrote down some info and then told Ryuujin "go to room 3c down the hall a teacher will be with you."

Upon entrance Ryuujin would notice that the room was some what sizable. It contained some lanterns for light, and had practice weapon racks. The room contained practice dummy's, and whatever else that was needed.

[Ryuujin]

OOC: sry bout that spock, it was late when I wrote that post, I thought that I wrote one handed battle ax.

IC: Ryuujin looked around at the rooms many training dummys and other things that were needed for practice. In the corner Ryuujin saw a blade sharpener. This seem to be the best thing to do while he waited, so he began to sharpen his axes so they would be ready for training.

[Spock]

OOC: Ok I do not think I said a blade sharpener was around. A harmless bunny, but come on dude just flow with things man.

IC: Soon a larger human named Thor came in, and set his stuff against the left wall. He then eyed the dracon for a second and then the weapons in his hands, and then nodded. Thor then motioned toward practice axes "use those practice axes we will not be trying to kill each other today unless you want to go live...if that s the case I then you will die today." Thor carried himself as someone black and white about life and issues in general. He then asked "So tell me have you had any experience with your choice weapon? Also why are you seeking training?"

thor then began to stretch and listen to the dracon....

OOC: sry spock, when you said that there was "whatever else was needed" in the room I figured that that included a sharpener

IC: Ryuujin watched the large man come in. He seem almost oversized for a human. "Well sir," began Ryuujin "when I lived in Alleria Prime I bought this ax," Ryuujin then held up the small hand ax that he had in his belt. "I practiced with it when I lived there. Then when I moved here to abesat," Ryuujin left out the part about him being arrested and escaping into the Primus countryside, "I joined the army and helped to quell the Vysstichi Moriqeundi Rebellion that happened a few weeks ago. In that battle I used both my small ax and this larger one." Then Ryuujin showed Thor his battle ax. "After the battle I went to the stockade and got another battle ax just like it." Ryuujin showed him his second battle ax.

"I have always liked the ax because of its raw power. I have seen axes cleave shields in half then proceed to the armor and then the man. Mostly I am impressed with just the shear strength of it. The reason that I am looking for dual wielding training is that using two axes at once saved me in the battle with the Vysstichi." Ryuujin thought about telling the story of the battle but he was sure that this man had alredy heard it as he obviously spent time on the base.

[Spock]

Thor nodded in approval, but mumbled something about it not being a rebellion really. He most likely took that perspective since there were know Vyssi underground or hardly any if any at all Vyssi that lived there. It was more a invasion to him since the population did not have the populace of significance for the Vyssi. However, that a side he then continued "the axe indeed is powerful no doubt. However, it is important to know that they are top heavy. Also power is great but at the cost of some agility and a bit of speed. However, I will teach you what can to at least be more a threat with them than to yourself."

Thor then explained "ok first lets go over a parry. A parry is the defensive use of your axe. Basically when someone is coming at you with a swing you then swing your axe at the sword to block it. It is fairly simple really in concept, but let us practice this."

Soon Thor waited for ryuujin to get into position, and then swan his right axe towards Ryuujin at a slow, and steady pace.

[Ryuujin]

As Ryuujin had not picked up a practice ax yet he quickly grabed one. Then he brought the practice ax up and caught the incoming ax in the crook between the blade and the pole. Then he swung downward, trying bring Thor's ax to the ground.

OOC: congrats on being a SAGM

[Spock]

Thor nodded and began to bring his left axe in on his ribs if not blocked. It was obvious the weapon choice would be a very offensive art, and Ryuujin would have to train for such scenario's. Ryuujin blocked the first swing, but was a bit off balance. Indeed, the instructor already knew a few tips to show him, but wanted to see how he would fare with the second axe swing....

[Ryuujin]

As Ryuuijn's practice ax was now on the floor he had to think of a very quick was to get it in the air, and on the other side of him. The quickest way to do the was over the head, as it seemed to Ryuujin. So Ryuujin brought the ax back over his head and spun to face the ax. In the same motion he also brought the ax in front of him to face the oncoming blow.

OOC: Ok lets get this striaght do you have 1 or 2 axes in your hands ?

ooc: I think I only had time to grab the one but after this block I'll can grab another.
