The Mystic can create a field of energy that surrounds her, whereupon any magical spells are cast, that energy shall be absorbed into the shield, providing the Mystic with psionic energy reserves to use for either strengthening of the shield or for other purposes. The shield is temporary and dissipates when it depletes its psionic reserve.
