[Gil'dae Cheb] As the wind blows (Private, Pre-Veil & GF'd)
Beginning of the Last Cycle of the month Junctior, in the Season of Autumn Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum.
Larien was dressed and ready for travel. Her lithe form was wrapped in her forestgreen riding dress with its divided skirts and elvish embroidery done in silver threads while her feet were covered in her brown pair of newer riding boots -- newer being within the last few eras or so. Thrown over it all was her dark green riders cloak made from beaten wool, lined with satin, and embroidered in threads of silver in an elvish design of leaves along the sides that wound around before exploding across the back. Around her neck, the young woman sported her silver and yellow gold pendant that depicted the crest of House Gil'dae, hanging from a white gold chain.
Her saddlebags were already packed. She was taking a few changes of clothing, including a few pairs of breeches, some of her simple cotton shirts, her light blue riding gown, two of her new velvet dresses (the one in ivory and the one in sapphire blue), and the embroidered chemise that went along with the ivory gown. Her green and blue dancing shoes were also thrown into the mix, along with some parchment, a quill, and a bottle of ink (carefully packed away from the clothing so if an accident occurred, it would not spoil the fine materials). As an afterthought, the elven maiden had also tossed in the old necklace given to her by Halda so long ago. It wasn't very pretty to look at but it was her good luck charm of sorts. Llywyn, Larien's dagger, was belted about the young woman's waist while Celeb'ril the longsword was strapped to the saddle along with her saddlebags. Linda Ulcu-Belthor with its strangely humming golden string was also carefully stowed along with Larien's things. Though she had neither quiver nor arrows, the young woman felt safer knowing she would have the weapon at hand. She could always purchase accessories once she reached Prime... hopefully if they were to meet with danger on the road, those traveling with her would be able to take care of her.
Captain Shirriu Joav’lania, second-in-command of the Quicksilver Guard, was in charge of their little band and Larien was happy to bend to his superiority. Her part in the story would come when they reached the capitol... but until then, the elven man seemed to know what he was doing. Calairiel wouldn't have put him in charge had it been otherwise. Standing beside her Sandbred mare, Fionn, Larien waited for the others to arrive in the stableyard before mounting. Yes, she had decided to take Fionn on that particular trip (most likely to Antiri's annoyance). Antiri had more experience in traveling and Larien trusted the steady Plainsbred more... but Fionn was faster and yes, vain as it was, she was prettier. Antiri would get to go on their next adventure. She had promised the mare that much. In the meantime, K'suil (the stableboy) would be sure to exercise her.
All mounted and ready, the Quicksilver Guard, Larien, and three other persons of note from the staff of Starshadow set out from the keep and slowly made their way through the Tawnleaf and out of the gates of Syl'rosya. Starting out, their primary destination was Aelyria Prime. It wouldn't be until a full brightening on the road that Larien would be suddenly struck with an idea... and would alter their course slightly to include a brief trip to Natura (after consulting Captain Shirriu Joav’lania of course).

Information on the NPCs accompanying Larien can be found here. There might be a slight addition to this list made by tomorrow so this thread will be updated accordingly if that addition is made.
Secrets :
What Larien is taking with her:
Halda's necklace - given to her by Halda, the giantess of Natura. It is magical, though Larien doesn't know this. If she grabs one of the horse figurines on the necklace, said horse will materialize and come to her aid until she no longer needs it. After that, the necklace is useless. See CIR for link to thread where it was acquired.
Linda Ulcu-Belthor - bow Larien won in the Naturan Horse Race. It too is magical, though it is also unknown to Larien. Its golden humming string can never be broken and gives off a holy aura. It would do well fighting the undead. See CIR for linkage. She has no arrows or quiver, though.
Llywyn - simple dagger. Nothing special. At her hip.
Celeb'ril - longsword borrowed from Gil'dae armory. It has the Gil'dae crest on its hilt.

Calairiel was sad to see them go but she knew that she would see them again soon. There was little that could keep the Sorceress from checking in on them along the way…and most certainly once they had reached Prime.
She prided herself on a close relationship with each of the people that worked for her, freely giving hugs to the entire group….as well as an extra tight hug for Larien, and wishes for a quick journey.
Handing over a small bag to Larien, Calairiel smiled.
“ 500 crowns for expenses you might incur along the way for the group. I’ll meet up with you in Prime and if you need more, you can let me know. May your journey be swift, cousin.”
OOC: 500 crowns will be subtracted from House Gil’dae’s finanicials.
