A short letter was delivered by courier to one Jael Susspin, the Merchant Baron of the Sultanate of Arakmat and long-standing friend (one of a precious few) of Erenthril Mael’tharias. Tied with a scarlet red ribbon, the loopy elvish script was quite literally burned into the papyrus and carved elegantly the following message:

Mellonenamin Heru Susspin,

I hope the brightening finds you well and in good health. It’s been some time since we last spoke, but I have yet to beg a favor in return for that pesky business I did for you in Moonwillow last era. Now, mellon, I wish to collect that favor with your blessing.

I am building a home for myself in the Primus Countryside, just outside of the capitol. My absence in Syl’rosyian affairs has turned my attention to Imperial matters instead, and my sojourning retreat in Chelseanna is simply too far away from the Regent and his compatriots to make myself of adequate use on a moment’s notice – arcana or no. I have bought fifteen acres outside the capitol and near the coastline in which I intend to construct a mansion of some 65,000 sq. feet. For this task, I wish to borrow once more your Sage Architect and master Mason that we used to complete Kard en tel’ Arrna within the Blackbarch. I am willing to purchase their time with twenty five hundred crowns per brightening, of which I expect to withhold them from your services for no more than five.

I intend to construct it just like tel’ Arrna, that is to say, via arcana following their blueprints and design. Transportation would be made readily available for them, at their convenience either towards the end of this month or the next. It is quite possible for me to arrange quick travel to the location for a brightening and have them survey the grounds upon which I wish to build the chateau, and then escort them back to Syl’rosya to draft the designs.
