My dearest friend Karo,

I fear that devastating news has reached the Cheb. Motito has succumbed to the mysterious illness that has crippled him for the past pattern. I was notified yesterday morning and am still in a state of shock. Knowing something is going to happen and have it happening are two very different things.

My sister, Alicia, whom I believe I’ve told you about, brought the news to me. I think that she could use a friend and someone to talk to that isn’t family. There are similarities in your past and her past that make me believe that you would be the perfect candidate.
