Leaving the Hold for Leave
3rd Brightening of the First Cycle of the Month of Immanis in the season of Winter; Era I of the Celestine Mandate, Era XV Post Fractum
The Battlecrows were assembled outside the Hold and they were ready to go. Each trooper was carrying their required gear and food, and there were several wagons for additional food and spare gear. Everything that a Company could need for a jaunt in the desert.
Captain Tasad R'rowl, leader of the Battlecrows stood before his men and looked them over quickly and efficently. As was his custom he was about to give a speech, but not quite one might think of such a deed.
Bellowing out loud enough to be heard by all the men Tasad growled out," Plain and simple men, we are taking leave, and each of you know what that means. It means we are going to a paradise that makes Aternia look like the heavens themselves and we are going to call that place home for the next few patterns. We will train hard and afterwards we will be back here in time for a few days of actual fun in the sun."
Tasad looked the men over with a savage look, although pride and love for each and everyone of them were obvious in his eyes. After giving it a few minutes to sink in Tasad bellowed," Battlecrows.....MOVE OUT!!!!"
With that order the Battlecrows, three hundred of the hardest and most determined individuals on the face of Telath marched out, heading to the deserts of Arakmat and what adventures they could find there, and leading them was one Aternia of a Captain.
