Valence reports to Captain R'rowl (Valence;Private)
OOC: This is where we will conduct your training, and any interactions between myself and you while we are at the Hold.
IC: Tasad was within his command tent, his mid-brightening meal finished, and he was looking over reports that he had gotten from Sgt. Verde about the status of the Battlecrows. All in all it was looking good and they would be ready for the mock battle in a few brightenings time. All in all he was satisfied with their progress and their determination.
Hearing someone moving about outside his tent Tasad growled out," Enter" And waited to see who was coming to see him.

Valence made his way towards the tent that he was told was Captain R'rowl's. Before he could knock he was told to enter by a gruff voice. He moved the tent flap out of the way and made his way into the tent. He looked at the Lionoid and said "Sir Commander Veleraen sent me here to check in with Captain R'Rowl." He then looked arounf the tent for anything interesting and to just take in the details as he did with Commander Veleraen's.

OOC: Sorry for the posting lag but RL is a pain. Will try to post sooner but can make no sure promises.
IC: Tasad looked over the young male standing in his tent. He was human, and almost as tall as Tasad, which was rather rare. After he had finished speaking Tasad simply watched him, his golden eyes unblinking as he intently looked at his new recruit.
After a few moments Tasad growled out," Whats your name private?"

ooc: It's all good and please excuse my post as it is short.
Valence looked back at the Lionoid and said "My name is Private Fowle sir." He looked at the black lionoid trying to take in details from him. He noted the black and chestnut fur, the muscled chest, and finally the piercing golden eyes. He then waited for an answer.

Tasad listened as the Private answered his question and then hid a smile as the Private studied him. Tasad indcated that he should take a seat.
After a few moments Tasad growled," Very well Private Fowle. You will be assigned to Fourth squad, led by Sgt. Darkpaw. They are off rotation for the moment and you will find them in their squad tent over near the outer palisade about fifty feet behind my tent."
Tasad thought for a few moments and then growled out," The Battlecrows have one mission Private. To bring death and destruction the the enemy by maintaining discipline, a high standard of training, and by being the meanest and most vicious soldiers in combat. The heavy infantry is often sent into situations where other units would be torn to shreds in moments, and we stay there until we are relieved, the enemy in routed or we are dead. Once engaged in a fight we stop the enemy advance cold and ensure that they learn fear as soon as they see our armour and our colors. I expect everyman to do his part, because we rely on the men on our lefts and rights to stand firm with us, as they depend on us to do the same. I can make you three promises right now. The first, I will not ask any soldier to do antyhign that I do not do myself. I am the first soldier to engage in battle and the last to leave the field. The second is that I will leave no soldier behind, dead or alive, we will all come home to the Roost. And the third promise is that your training, no matter how much you have had to date, will be hard, and brutal but when we meet the orcs on the field of battle you will be as prepared to face them as I can possibly make you."
Tasad allowed his words to sink in for a moment and then said," Now, what training have you had? Be honest because I will find out. I simply need to know where we need to start you off at."
Tasad waited for a reply, his golden eyes bright and fixed on the newest member of his Company.

ooc: Sorry for the short psot again.
Valence looked at the lionoid as he said Sgt. Darkpaw. He remembered him from the mess tent and the soldiers there. He nodded and said "Yes sir."
He then listened to the katta as he talked about the Battlecrows. What the katta said was "The Battlecrows have one mission Private. Valence listened to the words with content and said "I will do my best sir." He then thought of any training he had. He looked back at the lionoid and siad "Besides basic farming sir I have none."

Tasad sat listening to what the Private said not forming any thoughts. The katta saw that there was going to be quite a distance to go with this soldier, but he knew that as long as he stuck with it then he would live long enough to be proud of his service.
In response the katta growled," Very well private. You will report to Sgt. Darkpaw and he will sort you out on armour, weapons and your kit. In the brightening you will perform physical conditioning with the rest of the Battlecrows and afterwards you will report to me and I will take care of your training during the mornings. In the midbrightening you will once again train with the rest of the company and in the evenings during the few candlemarks that you are allowed for your own ease you will report to me and we will continue your training. Any questions?"
Tasad sat waiting to see what questions the newcomer would have.

Valence shook his head and said "None questions just that I have already met Sgt. Darkpaw." He saluted the katta and turned to make his way towards Sgt. Darkpaw. Once he got to the sgt. he would greet him and say "I need my equipment sir."

Sgt. Darkpaw looked at the private and said," So you've been assigned to us eh? Weel we'll be glad to have you. Head over to the quartermaster's tent and he'll get you set up right. Once you got your equipment and pack come back here and find me and I'll start getting you up to speed on how we work and our duties."

Valence nodded and said "It will be an honour to be on your squad." He then turned and made his way towards the quartermasters tent. After he got there he would greet the quartermaster and ask for his equipment and supplies.

The quartermaster's tent mass rather small to be used for such an enterprise such as equiping a whole regiment, but the Regimental commander would be able to fit inside of it with comfort so it wasn't that small after all.
The quartermaster was a grizzled looking dwarf who looked like he would rather eat a new private than help him and his voice made that clear when he said," What!?!?!?" And then waited for the new private to respond. If the private was smart he would see that there were Sgt's pips on his shoulder and react accordingly.
