It was just another brightening upon the wilderness of the Sheradine Province of the Aleyrian Empire. Although the more numerous, and therefore naturally formidable and powerful, orcish tribes and clans caused mayhem and murder upon the city states of the Sheridan Province, the tiny orcish clan of the Bloody Eyes lived in peace with their neighbours; or as peaceful as orcs can live.
This brightening also found Orokor a changed orc. Orokor, named in honour of the orcish god Orok, had on this brightening eight eras ago been born by his mother in the usual bloody and painfully way; and the change that occurs in every race had started and Orokor was becoming an adult. Although by the standards of his race Orokor was only a whelp, the young orcish warrior already stood near to six feet in height, and was developing the broad muscular arms and shoulders that were hereditary of the orcish race.
The orcish warrior was also upon this brightening awoken by a soul chilling scream and a smarting punch by a bonny, but still powerful fist. The change had happened, and the females of the tribe where driving off the young males orcs of the Bloody Eyes before the Curse of Orok could strike again.
