[Location] Aestas
Aestas
On the most southern tip of the Phondra Peninsula lies the small & busy farming village of Aestas. It is here that sprawling and fertile farm lands and quiet, enchanting woods meet the dirt roads and cobbled streets of the small town. The people are welcoming, peaceful, with a love of nature and balance. They are mostly hard working farmers who live off the land in a close nit community where bartering and trade is chosen over the use of Imperial currency.
A place for people to seek rest, to work hard, to enjoy the beauty of the coastal plains of Sheria. Where nobles own expansive estates and ranches run by and worked on by the people; where cotton plantations dot the green and golden hills with white; where apples trees flourish in autumn, and livestock are watched by young boys in bare feet.
Aestas is by no means a city wealthy in crowns. Its people are most farmers and workers, that work hard for a living and where a bartering and trading system is used over the use of money itself. What money it does make comes from farming and exportation, the few artisans that the city does have, and as a destination for nobles and citizen as 'vacation spots', where many have ranches and country estates. A small amount of lumber work also aids the cities economy, but the nature loving people of Aestas will not allow much of their forest to be cut down, and practices replantation founded by the cities small government.
As the city of Aestas is mostly self-reliant village that sustains itself, there are very few imports other than some finished and refined products, and export mostly lumber and food stuffs to the surrounding rural villages, and also to Taralon.
