[Edge of Sheria]Imperial Legions Camp
At first, there was no sign indicating the Imperials at the borders between Sheria and Enamoria. The Imperials did patrol the borders, especially since the Orcs attacked Narim. It was not widely known; orders were given to the Imperials were to kill the Orcs on sight. But the Orcs also knew enough not to appear near the borders in large numbers and the borders were far from Ire.
However, during the end of Cryxatum, a few thousands Imperials appeared at the edge of Maevewoods after Charisma Pass. They were interrupting into Sheria but were still from the main activity centre of the Orcs. The soldiers begun to clear the woods efficiently and quickly. Soon, a clearing appeared and then a wooden fortress.
Into Aperitus and Optia, more and more soldiers appeared, until there were more than 20,000 soldiers, more than a match for any Orcs that dare to move out of Ire into the Imperials territory. Thus, more fortress build of wood and stone appeared and with these fortresses, wooden barricades were built extending to link with each other. By the end of Optia, there were only few entrances into Sheria, at least by the way of Maevewoods. Paths still exist in the Taralon Mountains but they were dangerous and hard to travel.
Thus, the soldiers trained and patrol at the edge of Enamoria and Sheria. It could be seen that soldiers were practicing their archery with bows and crossbows as every soldiers were ordered to do so. At the same, the soldiers were diligent in patrolling the borders to ensure the safety of Enamoria.
But how strict were the security at the borders? To any citizen that approached the entrances into Sheria, they were warned of the dangers and were persuaded to take another route. But if the travelers still insisted on going into Sheria via the Maevewoods, they were allowed to. At least, that was the official stand. There were rumors that any suspicious citizens that tried to go into Sheria were confined and perhaps even killed, especially those of the dark race. There were also rumors of the Imperials going on patrol to hunt Orcs.
How true was the rumors? One had to join the Imperials to know.

The orders came and with the efficiency that are trained into them, the Legions packed up their belongings and the required equipment. Soon, they were ready to move out. From across the Maevewoods, the Legions moved out and meet at an agreed place. The place was a road to Autumnus. There the Legions met up Sheng and the detachment of mages.
The mages with Sheng numbered twenty. In the twenty were eight were Sorcery Adepts and eight were Elementalism Adepts. To round off the numbers, two were Thaumaturgy Adepts, an Elementalism Master and a Mysticism Master. The Elementalism Master was Provost Thorgunna Endchain and the Mysticism Master was Provost Korrrk Klawch.
With these numbers, Sheng marched the Legions to Autumnus.

After retreating from Autumnus, the Imperials returned back to the lines separating Enamoria from Sheria. Though it was a retreat, the Imperials were not disheartened. If there was one character that defined the Imperials, it was their determination.....or at the very least, the determination of their commanders to remain to win the war.
Thus, the wooden structures were reinforced with better construction and even some sections reinforced with stone and metal. The Imperials were getting ready for the long war ahead.
With this in mind, the Imperials burned the vegetation on the Orcs' side, clearing the area in front of the many fortresses at the border far and wide. Patrols were planned regularly to flush out Orcs near the borders. There were even patrols deep into Orcs' territory by young, eager officers. The results from these patrols were mixed; sometimes victory was gained and sometimes great losses were suffered. But the soldiers knew what they in for when they signed and morale was still of a sufficient level.
However, the news of the Empire becoming a Kingdom were unsettling. What did this meant for the Imperials? Were they to be called the Royals now? With no answers coming forth, even from the comanders themselves, all the soldiers could do now was to wait and follow orders...

A half beaten man walked past the portal the mage sent by the Provost Imperatis had opened in his office. His face was that of a sad and perhaps lost man but it didn't mean those were the thoughts in his mind. The turnmoil of feelings regarding the recent lost of his right hand was all but the tip of the iceberg, while at the surface the wind raged wildly under the water the ice remained silent and aware. Black armor and black cloak matching the black crest on his black helmet.
Past the wards did this troubled man walked. Without knowing it he was going in the direction of all he ever wanted, the possibility of showing his superiors he had done something and that the Empire still stood. Before entering the tent Eyvind casually discarded his helmet to an orderly that stood nearby. Icy blue eyes pierced every and all those who stood within and finally facing his lordship Sheng Kaldres the colossal man bowed his head in respect.
"I've come."
