One of the most magnificent structures of the Toichos Kikkimos would be the Palati Ariadne. Drawn not just by the Lighthouse Hellios that consists of one of its structures, the Palati is also one of spectacular beauty, done in classic Eunesia fashion, and have been lauded by poets and recreated by numerous artisans, who would sigh at it's elegant magnificence. A massive arcade portico would stretch from the two road leading to the Palace, from the left and right, adorn with elaborate pilasters that are ribboned with stuccos. Ancient Eunesian scripts depict common Secyclion ethos, such as the dedication of life to the Secyclion version of Aethernia.
To smoothen out the raise and fall of natural terrain, crepidomas are constructed to level out the road that leads to the Palace, built on the stylobate. The ornate pediment above the main facade of the structure houses miniature carved structure of Secyclion engaged in every Brightening activities. From the humble fisherman to the highly regarded Philosopher, Retainers, to the Navymen. Warriors and their female counterparts are also displaced around the central and largest figure which depicts the Thane residing within the Palati.
A large cupola carved out of rare green basalt is inlaid onto the circular dome roof, with a single flag mast holding the colors of Secyclion. Flying streamers and ramparts elaborately decorated with classic Eunesian acroterions palmettes can be seen, with little expenses spared. This was after, the seat of power within the Island City, housing the Thane himself and the Principal Staff. Many other important buildings such as the Secyclion Tribunal and portions of Fort Helicon are also integrated into the vast citadel-like structure with a large frontage and thinner width.
Inside the main nathrex of the building, coffered ceilings raise high and over the curved corridors, beautifully ornate before ending with a keystone in the sigil of an Imperial Warbird spreading it's wings in mid flight. Tiles are polished marble, smooth and seeming to catch light from the most unruly angles, stretching with a powerful gleam of light from the windows stretching over the column bases. The opulent walkway eventually opens to a exedra, a depression in the ground which is ringed with curved high-backed stone benches, a suitable place for a philosophical conversation known as the stoa, before another short walk leads one through an opening adorned with an architrave adorned with a potrait of the current Thane of Secyclion -- Count Charon Von Dimosthenis, depicted in his traditional Secyclion garb, decked head to toe in expensive Black Ram felt. One would only be allowed to enter after a security check by the guards who are stationed underneath the potrait.
Couriers and dispatches hustle and move about, carrying news from the mainland as well as the other Eunesian Isles. Speeches are always being prepared, and there was always people wanting to enter the inner Halls of the Palati, or wishing to seek an inquiry simply it was so easy to get lost in such a vast complex. The path eventually opens into a somewhat smaller chamber, with none of the diminishing in richness in design and color, dentils adorned with winged Ancient Aelyrians stretching over gardens and celestial planes.
An beautifully design marble counter sits in the center of the chamber, with a large motif of the Black Ram inlaid onto the smooth surface of the rose tinged table, with miniature versions of Caryatids adorn the polished and wonderful grained rock and a young man is seated behind the counter, with dark curly hair and a face that seemed far too tanned to belong to a clerical assistant. He is garbed in simple clothes, a single piece dress that seemed more Olympian than the typically Secyclion, and he carried a smile with a twitch of his lips.
"Chairete. How may I help you?"
