Shvakkim Road Map and Classifieds
The entrance to the Road that was The Shvakkim was narrowed, to say the least. A slice of an opening between two large buildings hewn of stone. On the right hand side of the paved path that began towards the heart of the city of Narim and reached it's long path to the sea, was a medium sized notice and location board made of a rich oak hue.
With wood that was approximately three inches thick and stood close to four feet off the ground on stilts of the same material, sat a sign announcing what this part of Narim was called, what was in it (and a rough sketch of the area to accompany it) and notices posted in random places about the need for employees, or specials in various shops, sales or the closing of other places.
The pride and joy of such an area happened to be the large Tavern and Inn sitting on the left, standing sentinel above the rest of the mercentile district. The Flounder's Finn Tavern and Inn.. How much fun that place was, day and night.
Upon closer inspection, the drawn map gives an overview of what the Shvakkim looks like so that it's vistors and customers are not lost within it's vastness.
Randomly strewn around were advertisements and notices for employees, all that needed to be done was for them to be read...

Patricia the Aedile was a frequenter of the classifieds board, putting up notices, cleaning them out, checking over the neatness of the entire thing.. Another one in her hand, one particular brightening at the board, was tacked up. Rather peculiar, a lot of people thought, as Patricia was the ever-hearty Aedile, the infamous hard worker..
Interested in getting involved with the local Government?
Times have been picking up, and have made me realize that I need some help!.. So, have you ever wanted to be in a governmental position? The stepping stones are there before you, right here in Narim!
There's not a better place to start than as the Assistant Aedile to Patricia, Aedile of Narim! Wouldn't that be a wonderful job? Exactly. So, if you'd love to take up this venture..
Stop by Patricia's Office and have a chat.
Signed,
Patricia the Aedile
Scattered around were random notes in poor handwriting, some proclaiming thanks to whoever murdered the Prefect. Others begging for a savior to come from the skies and become their prefect after investigating the matter. The Aedile cleaned these out each day.. but it never seemed to be enough. They just kept coming back. Oh, what was Narim going to do if this didn't settle out soon?

A new Life Begins
Timestamp: Brightening 16 Of Early Apertius in the Summer of Era II
It was getting towards late brightening since Kalynne's arrival at Narim. Having found the entrance to the road of the Shvakkim, a message board and area directions greeted her, one corner of a worn message flittering in the salt-water scented breeze. Now and then, she looked up from the directions and board to get her bearings, mentally prioritizing her next set of decisions.
With a low grumbling, Kalynne's stomach helped in the matter as did her burning eyes for need of sleep. Though, having taken a quick inventory of her possessions, the weary female traveler noted she also needed a resupply of essentials.
Another set of messages caught Kalynne's eye regarding job opportunities. Something she was going to need before her current funds ran out.
A few that were available weren't to her liking, though one, a job at the Alleria Leather Products shop was something she could relate to having some experience in that area with helping her Mother to make leatherware for the family for trade and after her Father had died from pneumonia. Leaving the family without immediate income from his bowyer's shop that was closed from not keeping up with the rent.
"Yes I'll see about getting a job there. It's not something I've soon forgotten." She said to herself and nodding in emphasis of her decision. "If that doesn't work, then something else it'll have to be" Kalynne was one to look at the flagon half full and though with her parents gone, tried to keep an optomistic attititude.
With a last look at the directions, Kalynne walked down the road toward the leather shop, nodding and smiling at those who felt like acknowledging her presence.
