Fovart's Blades and Bows (II)
Forvarts Blades and Bows was another two storey building nestled in amongst the busy streets of Narim City. A large wooden sign, hanging from the thatched roof names the store, and on either side of the large, bold writing, a picture of a sword and shield has been painted.
As you enter the store you are caught of guard and surprised, as a very large, completely black, what can only be described as a half wolf jumps out at you with a snarl. He bares his teeth, in an angry grin, snapping constantly at your legs, which are only inches away from his shiny and very sharp looking teeth. Though the dog can’t go anywhere, and as you notice he is chained to the far wall to a large, studded collar, and can’t go anywhere, but it is still a scary sight, and you move away from the dog as far as possible. The dog then barks twice, and then continues to growl at you in a very menacing way.
From a door in the back of the room, a large man walks in. He was very tall, over six feet, and his dark ebony skin rippled with large muscle. He was wearing a ripped, sleeveless shirt and dark breeches, and at his waist a large, elven steel sword hangs at his side; its hilt gripped by one of his massive hands. He snarls at you like his dog does, his clear blue eyes staring at you with threatening glare. By looking at his appearance it is obvious that the man, who can only be Farvorts is at least part Vysstichi.
“Down Fang,” he sounds in a loud rumbling voice and the dog whines as if to say “but I’m hungry”, and backs away from you appearing to slump down in his corner and go to sleep. “Now state your business,” Farvort says. He motions his other hand, (the one not gripping his blade tightly), to a board with words and prices on it. If you are wondering where the weapons are, it seems you will not be told or shown until you have made your choice of purchase. It is obvious that this man does not trust anyone, and would you if you were part Vysstichi?

Corvus entered the shop just as Zoreil had left. Looking in the Elfs direction he said to himself "Well someone was in a hurry" Turning to the clerk Corvus nodded and poceded to walk around the room looking at the various weapons. Seeing as he was the only customer in the room he spoke aloud. "Excuse me Sir but I need a bow and a blade, I was just wondering if you had any suggestions on which ones would be suitable for a person of my stature? I dont want to be over balanced or anything you see."

A silver haired Vysstichi Moriquendi enters. Deprived of her normal glide becuase of the dog she reaches up to make sure her veil is in place. She's small with slim hands and long pionted finger nails. Her eyes are chips of sparkling amythest, surveying the room and shimmering with approval. She reads the sign which says the prices, finds a glaive and a dagger, takes out 140 gold crowns, and waits to be helped.

"Person of your stature...?" Fovart asked incredulously, giving the man a look-over. "I dunno what you're on about, but... in any case... first of all, what are you looking for by way of a blade? Dagger, great sword, throwing dart, claymore? The term 'blade' encompasses a plethora of possibilities, my friend," he barked, looking slightly annoyed. "And for that matter, what kind of bow? Accuracy, power, range...?"
Anarríma
Fovart tapped his fingers on the counter once or twice, looking at the woman in front of him. Eventually, he opened his mouth slowly and said, "Erm... serale? Can I... help you with something, miss?"

Mathias
Fovart looked pleased as Mathias handed him the 110 crowns. He then simply waved as the man left the store, and turned his attention to another customer.
Opo Joke Sundi
The shopkeeper takes the additional 20 crowns, and looks up to Opo. "That's better. Is there anything else?"

Anarrima glanced up at the man, a bit surprised. "I would like to buy a glaive and a parrying dagger." She says calmly. A thick veil hides her dark skin and bright purple eyes. These florescent orbs give Fovart an unnerving stare, while she waits.

Anarríma
Fovart smiled as the dark Elf finally stated her business. "A glaive and a parrying dagger? No problem."
The man turned around and made his way through the back door. A few seconds and some stumbly sounds later, he returns with both the dagger and the polearm. Placing them on the counter, he looks up to his customer and utters a simple "That'll be 140 crowns please."

Nokar enters the store and does not flinch at the dog. He stares at it calmly until its master tells it to leave. Watching it go into the corner, the dwarf takes a few more steps and then finally sees the huge attendant. His eyes adjust slightly and Nokar moves far enough towards the man so that he can state his business.
"I would like a longsword and two, stilletto daggers," he stated. He went and found the 140 crowns needed and held them in his hands. He would not let go of them until he saw his requested weapons out and on the table.

Anarrima glows with pride as she examines her glaive and dagger. Her eyes brighten and her whole face looks happy as she examines the beautiful glaive. Strangely, she looked prettier when she was smiling, an odd occurance for a dark elf. She took out 140 crowns, paid Fovart, picked up her prized weapons and left.

Nokar Blackenstan
Fovart's face shows something that resembled a sly smile when Nokar makes his way past the dog."If you're not here to cause trouble, you shouldn't worry about the dog. Now what can I help you with?"
As the dwarf states his business, he nods. "Excellent choice. I somehow always liked daggers myself. Just a minute."
He then slowly made his way back to fetch the blades, returning a little later. He placed all three on the counter, hilts pointing at Nokar, and looked at the dwarf's crowns-filled hands. "If that adds up to 140 crowns, you can hand them over and takes your wares."
Anarríma
It was good to see the woman liked what he had provided her with. Happy customers were good for business. They tended to bring in more customers.
As Anarríma made her way outside, she could hear a faint "Be sure to come again" before she stepped through the frontdoor. The dog seemed to ignore her.

Nokar lifted his hand with the crowns and placed them on the counter. Before leaving, though, he picked up the longsword and looked over it with a careful, but not scrutinizing eye. He was satisfied, as he knew he would be.
"Thank you my good sir," the dwarf replied as he nodded and took the blades. He did not care nearly as much for the daggers as the sword, but assumed the same quality would be used in the forging of those weapons, too. Nokar then turned and left the store a few crowns shorter and a few weapons heavier.

Fovart nodded as Opo mentioned the spear. "One spear coming right up, sir." He then made his way to the back of the shop. When he returned somewhat later, he was holding a decent-looking wooden spear. It was no doubt of good quality. Handing over the weapon, the shopowner utters a simple "Here is your spear," and turns his attention to the next customer.

Opo took his spear from Fovart and looked over the quality of it. He was pleased with it. "Thanks mate." He walked out of the store.

Skyde Kaylar walked into the store and read the sign. "Seems reasonable..." he pondered as he walked in. He walked up to the counter and said, "I would like a Gladius and a Stiletto, please!"

Skyde Kaylar
It seemed like business was blooming this days as another customer entered Fovart's shop. As the man made his way up to the counter, Fovart carefully eyed the man as he stated his request. "A gladius and a stiletto dagger? Sure..."
It took the man little time to find either of the blades, and he was standing in front of Skyde, holding one in each hand, within a few minutes. "There you are. Would you like to have scabbards with them? It'll prevent you from cutting your leg open while walking." A small smile had formed no Fovart's face as he spoke out the last few words.

Skyde looked at the man and smiled. He said, "Of Course! What is a weapon without a scabbard... how much extra will that cost?"
