The New Flounders Finn Inn and Taven

It had been a horrible few cycles for the staff and patrons of the Flounders Finn Tavern, as after that horrible night of the undead attacked, the prestigious and well loved building had been destroyed, and burnt to the ground, taking with it the lives of the owner, Mr. Finn as well as two waitress’ who had burned or been slaughtered in the attack. It was a sad event not only for the Finn, but for Narim aswell…

But not all was lost, and with the support of the town, Altysa K’renth, the part elven head waitress, turned owner, had rebuilt the Flounders Finn, turning the once beauteous Tavern, into an Inn to match, and with the soot of the fire, and the stench of the undead whipped from stone and wood, the New Flounders Finn, Inn and Tavern was open for business.

The new Inn was situated on its old site, close to the more expensive residential area of Narim, and patron home to more of the well off population of the coastal city. Its outside was made of the cities typical cold stone, dwarven architecture, but once entering the large wooden doors into the Finn, any thought of icy, and unfeeling surroundings is soon lost. The room was lit by day, by large windows on two of the four walls of the main common room, letting the shinning warmth of Narim’s light into the area… but by night the room was lit by the soft, warm, glow of a large a dancing hearth, and the shine of candles that adorned many flat spaces of the room. It gave the area a feeling of warmth and safety, that Altysa had hoped to bring to birth after the drastic and terrible events of the past… it had certainly worked.

The floor itself was a deep, rustic wood, that matched the chairs and tables that littered the common room, though with space enough for people to move around and stand comfortably in groups, and a large area by the fire to allow for those that wished to danced to the soft lilting music, played on harp or flute by a dark haired elven bard. The stone walls of the room were covered with ornate and expensive looking tapestries, and a small but brilliant brass chandelier hung from the tavern roof, giving the Finn an almost palace like feeling. As the eyes of the patrons fall around the room, a staircase resides to one side that obviously leads to another level, and the area where the Inn’s rooms must have been; away from the bustle and noise of the main tavern, and if the rooms were anything like the detail of the common room, a visitors stay would certainly be a comfortable one. Yet as one enters, and has taken in the soft, warm, and gentle ambience of the room, a young human female speaks to you from a desk to your left.

“Serale there, and welcome to the New Flounders Finn, Inn and Tavern, are you here for a room, or just for a drink and meal?”

Brito walks into the Inn hoping for a drink, meal, and a place for the night because the blankets and pack have been getting quite uncomfortable on the local ground;

"serale, i am here for a drink, meal nad a room for the night how much does a room cost here? oh, and also how much are the drinks and meals?"

Brito waits patiently for an answer...

Krath heard about the Flounders Finn being rebuilt some time ago, and he desided to check out the place. When he arrived outside, he could feel the sorrow and death from the undead's attack by just seeing the area.

However, when he entered he was surprised how happy and gentle it was inside, giving him a much better feeling. However, he was surprised there was someone to ask about what he was wanting to do. Maybe they're paranoid of another attack, but like someone would come out and say 'i'm here to burn this place down'. He chuckled to himself.

"Well, i'm not entirely sure what i'm here for. Definately a room, but if the place gets a little more busy i'll probably be here for some chat as well." he said, happily and a little flirtish look in his eyes.

walking over to Krath Muad Dib starts to ask him some freindly questions;

"serale! I stopped by the Inn just for a room, so i can rest up and continue my journey to Primus Gaudeo. i was around during the fire at the original Inn. i was just passing by when i noticed some smoke, were you any where around here during the fire?"

Inviting Krath over to the bar, Muad Dib orders drinks for the two of them hopeing to not make any enemies around here.

Steve walked into the recently rebuilt flounders inn and tarvern. As soon as he entered he noticed how warm and friendly the atmosphere was, with sunlight shining through the windows making the room very bright. The walls were decorated with expensive looking taperstries and he could see a large fireplace to make it nice and warm at night. steve smiled to himself and hoped thier ale was good

"Serale i am here for a drink, i had to come when i heard a new tavern had opened" Steve grinned and continued "could i see the menu please?"

Steve waited for a reply

Krath hoped the elf would be able to drink two drinks, since krath wasn't in the mood to drink this night. Who knows, maybe he will drink it.

"No, i was in Vers at the time the taverns had burn down. And unless you like small, peaceful cities then don't go to Vers, its kinda dull. But anyway, what's your name? I'm known as Krath."

setting 10 crowns on the counter, Guzzling the first drink Muad Dib invites Krath over to a table hopeing for a conversation since not many others take kindly to elvs especially the Nimalni's.

"i am known as Brito Kognas. i was on my way to the tavern and i noticed the place was on fire so as fast as i could i sprinted away from the burning building. Then i noticed several survivors come running out, and let me tell you they were in a complete panic. So as i was running i was passed by one of the survivors, and him telling me about how he thought the fire started, turned out to be a long night. i just returned from Tirisfal being told where i may find places where jobs are open."

setting the drink on the table Muad Dib hoped he had not attempted to buy a drink for someone who does not "drink".

[Krath Telrah]

"Well, i wont be getting a job for some time. Sold my house back when i lived in prime, and got a decent amount of money. I've been hoping to get training in combat, actually." Krath thought to himself as he sat down, then took a swig of the ale (i'm assuming its an ale :-p). It's been awhile since his last drink.

"So, you have any plans for the future, or are you just taking it a day at a time, so to speak."

[Brito Kognas]

happy that krath took the ale;

"i sort of letting fate "take the ropes" pretty much what ever happens to me on a day is whats goin to happen and i cant change that. all i can do is pray that i can get a good job and get an actaul weapon that will protect me and not justa walking stick.
*chuckles to himself* so whats your line of buisiness krath, or what exactly do you specialize in?"

"Currently, i specialize in nothing. Nor am i in any kind of business. And just to tell you, even if you do find a weapon it wont protect you very well unless you know how to weild it, if you know what i mean." he took another sip of his ale. "However, Narim seems to be a good place to buy and learn weapons, and i'm sure it will be easy to find a job if that is what you're after."

trying to get more comfortable on the bench;

"well that is true i never did think of that. thank you for telling me about Narim, i did not realize there were any store owners looking for a helping hand i could use the money, well not really. but it would help me. im also looking for suggestions on where to learn basic archery. if you would help me on this,i would greatly appreciate it."

"Well, you could probably learn much more than just basic archery with the Narim Rangers, and your archery would probably be quite advanced really, plus know how to survive in the wild. Its a good way to learn things that would be helpful. Otherwise i'd check out the institute, they have many fighting courses. He took another drink of his ale, close to finishing it off.

surprised at the opportunity to learn advanced archery;

"well i thank you Krath you have been alot of help, i may find you somewhere and come and see you just for a freindly hello," (if i find you lol), "well i must be off, i bid you fare well. and again thank you, serale!"

Krath was a little surprised that this conversation went by so quick. Oh well, he'd wait for some others to come by. He waved goodbye to the elf as he finished off his ale, and then he sighed and leaned back in his chair, causing it to be on 2 legs.

coming back into the Inn;

"hello again i forgot my pack," picking up pack from the floor "well thank you for staying here and sort of watching it."
