Master..
Master, you were right, Silian thought to himself as he stood alone in the hall, No one teaches the art of the Twin Blade anymore...
Silian closed his eyes as he tilted his slender head towards the floor. I don't understand. How am I supposed to continue training by myself? ..Why did you have to leave me..Master. I have to be alone again. Look at me..Just arrived yesterday and I'm already broke.
A normal person would have thought him schizophrenic, but to Silian, he was perfectly normal..in this world. His kindred would never approve of such a weakness as to dwell on a lost loved one. To his kin, there existed no love, and even family ties only went so far. Thankfully, though, Silian was alone, and had quickly recovered.
This is about the time you would whack me over the head and tell me to 'snap out of it.' He thought, laughing aloud. You senile old fool... ... He continued to laugh at himself, until an emotionless expression reached his face, and he calmed a bit.
I'm going to be fine Master. It's just, I've never had to train on my own before. I..I know I can do it, but I'm just ....er...I'm only thinking too much. Even if no one knows the art of the Twin Blade around here, I'll be fine. All I know how to do is fight...maybe it'll be of some use, though I doubt it..
He moved for the first time in minutes, turning and heading towards the exit.
