Intermediate Battle Axe - Bormiss
Room 207
Master Go'axa stood in the centre of the room, his dwarvish body was in a state of beginning. He was commensing his warmup. Hi performed 50 Pushups as if he was pushing against a swinging door, and there was no resistance. His body just warming up. His legs were sorted out, and his arms were beginning to Warm up.
Master Go'axa continued in his warmup routine. until his new student arrived. So there he was, alone, and enjoying life.

The next morning Bormiss woke up and smelled the fresh air. He smiled, knowing he was going to be training with a fellow dwarf. This training should help Bormiss become a good guard for Riparia. At the time he knew he had to reach his master for training. Bormiss was excited, but at the same time he was nervous. He started heading twards the institute and reached room 207.
As Bormiss enter he was amazed to see Master Go'axa doing push ups so fast. His body structure was huge. Bormiss thought he was always a strong good looking dwarf, but Go'axa had the full package. He didn't want to interupt the master, but from his last master, Bormiss knew they were very kind and understanding. He stepped twards the master and bowed.
" Serale Master Go'axa my name is Bormiss. I come to train with you to become an excellent warrior and guard for our people. I want people to know who Bormiss is. I have a feeling you are very skilled in the battle axe by just seeing your warm ups. Im ready to begin my training even if it takes day and night, I will get it done."
At the time Bormiss was not nervous, he felt very comfortable with Master Go'axa.

Master Go'axa smiled and moved towards his new student.
Serale Bormiss. Well ya seem eager to get on with the training, me lad, so I will need the red ticket thet the secretary should have given ya last brightening. Then I think a good warm up is in order, so I want ya to take a jog around the room for Ten circuits, and then perform Fifty pushups, and Fifty sit ups. Once you have done this we will get down to the training.

After Master Go'axa orders, Bormiss was ready to do whatever the Master had in mind. Even though the warm up was going to be hard for the little dwarf, he was deterimine to finish the objective.
" Yes Master Go'axa , here is my ticket. I will begin my warm up now."
Bormiss smiled to his Master and began his run. After his first lap he started to breathe heavily. He laughed in his mind knowing that he was defenitly out of shape. After four minutes, he was finished with the laps. Bormiss got down on the grown and started his push ups. This was no problem for Bormiss, for his arm strength is powerful. Sit ups took a bit longer then expected, but he finally finished all the warm ups.
Breathing hard:
Master Go'axa , sorry for I am not in good shape. This should be good training for me."
Bormiss just smiled

Master Go'axa laughed at his student admitting how unfit he was. He knew what the dwarven physique would allow, being a dwarf himself, but an unfit dwarf was something that he would have to correct.
Well my friend it would seem that we might have some work to do on your fitnes, but this we shall complete as we continue through this training regime. So we will first complete a little recap of the attacks that you should have learned in your basic training. The first attack I would like you to show me is a slash attack from the left swinging the blade to the right.

Bormiss remembered very little of what his last master taught him, but surely this attack seem very easy for him. He backed away from Master Go'axa and then bowed to him showing him respect. He then gripped his left hand under the blade about 2-3 inches away from it. His right hand close to the buttom. This shows the balance that he has, so the blade doesn't release and hit anyone.
Shifting his waist to get a powerful swing, Bormiss brings the axe to the left of him and brings it fast around to his right.
" Master Go'axa is that fine or should I try again?"

Master Go'axa watched the move with some smirk across his face. It was always fun to do a quick recap of those things that may have been forgotten, or even try to rmove nay bad habits that had formed over the time since the last training took place. As it was Go'axa could find no fault with the attck sio it was going to be a case of try the next one then.
Good Bomiss. That was a fine strike. Now then perhaps you can show me the over head, split the person into two, cleaving strike attack.

Bormiss laughed...
Hahaha, split them into two ya say. As you wish Master Go'axa.
He was enjoying every second of his training. Two dwarves working together seemed to be working for him. His other master was a human so it was a little uncomfortable. But being with a fellow dwarf they could joke around, but at the same time work hard and be serious.
Bormiss scratched his head trying to remember this attack. He did remember this attack can be challenging because of bringing it over his head. He thought for a second and tried the cleaving strike attack.
He grabbed the bottom of the axe with his left hand and his right hand in the middle of the axe. Bormiss brought the axe above his head, but not fully above. He then swiped his axe downward off to the right.
" Master Go'axa I think on that swing I felt a bit uncomfortable, was that right?"

ooc - you want fun.......
ic - Go'axa looked on at his new student and wondered what the heck was going on.
What in Cetheron's name was that. I asked for the split 'em down the middle strike, but what you gave me, me lad, was no way a good strike. It would seem that I chose right to complete a quick recap, as ye seem to have learned a bad habit for that attack, my friend. So ye needs to have a strong hold on ya axe, towards the base of the handle, and then bring it up and hold it above ya head, like so.
Go,axa performed the move so that Bormiss would be able to see how to hold the handle correctly. Both hands being quite close together and with good grip.
Then bring the Axe down straight as ya can. So perform the attack as I have shown you, please.
Go'axa performed the rest of the manoeuver so that Bormiss could see how it was done. Then he asked Bormiss to perform the attack again.

Trying the move over again
OOC: Hehehe, fun
IC: Bormiss seemed dissapointed in himself, he failed his master and this was not good. He almost wanted to kill himself. This was not like Bormiss. He followed orders and always listen to every word anyone told him. He nodded his head to Master Go'axa, showing him that he understood what he just showed him.
This time Bormiss grabbed a tight and strong grip on the base of his battle axe. With a strong pick up he brought the axe above his head and slammed it downward with much strength.
" Sorry master Go'axa, I failed you. I will try not to do it again."
OOC: Sorry Ladon I failed you, hehe

ooc - failed me? Nah just have fun. You will get to understand my training threads in a bit, but basically I like to keep youu busy with a quick recap, and a show of perhaps the fact that you may have picked up a habit or two is just part of this so don't worry about this, and Go'axa is a toadstool when you get to know him. So do not dispair for you will soon be in amongst the new moves I have planned for you to learn.
ic - Go'axa smiled at the new attempt that Bormiss made at the overhead slice and dice attack. The Axe master couldn't help but be impressed with the attempt. If anything had been in the way of the attack then it would now be in a state of being two seperate halves, of whatever it was. Go'axa smiled as he praised that last move.
Well my friend it waould seem ya found the right attack that time. Now if ya apply that energy into all the rest of the attachs that ya make, I'm going to need to get meself a new training room; this ones gona get wrecked me lad. So ya have made a good left hand attack, one directly over the head, and now I would like ya to perform the backhand swing attack to bring the right hand attack. I'm sure ya will now what to do for this one, but if ya do need further recap of the method of the attack , then pipe up lad, and I'll show ya how to do it. So perform the right hand attack for me now Bormiss

Training
Bormiss seemed confused on the attack, but the attack seem not too hard. He didn't want to fail his master again so before he did the attack he replied.
"Master Go'axa, I dont remember this move much, but I will sure try. Forgive me if I fail this attempt."
From what Bormiss noticed about his master was a strong hard grip. He then with his left hand got a strong grip at the base of the axe. With his right hand he grabbed in the middle. Twisting the blade so it would be facing Bormiss. He bent his knees and twisted his hips. Bormiss then swung the axe to the side of him to the right, showing that he was back handing the enemy with the axe.
" I hope that is what you were looking for Master Go'axa."
Bormiss smiled hoping the attack was a success.
OOC: Hehe

ooc - indeed.
ic - Go'axa smiled at the attempt that his student had made. There were ways in which all dwarfs could improve, and Go'axa was going to make sure tis one would certainly be one of the most deadly in what ever fight that he may find himself in.
Well me lad you have the basics of that attack sorted, but we will build on this as we progress through the training that I will put you through. Now then I wonder if your previous tutor had the good mid to teach ya the nastiest move a dwarf could learn as basic training. Ya know the one I mean, there Bormiss?
Bormiss must have looked a little nonplussed because Go'axa tutted, under his breath.
I da' know, what is the realm coming too. The attack I was trying to explain to ya was the upward strike to the groin. Ya know the split the difference strike. Now if ya haven't performed this before then I better show ya. Ya take your normal offensive stance and then bring a a circular swing around and towards the lower section of the opponents body, which become nasty, because you change the angle of attack like so, and hit the ratbag right between the legs. So have a go Bormiss.

Bormiss with a smile knowing this move would pretty much destroy a male's manhood was nasty, but a powerful move. Taking the basic offensive position Bormiss was ready to make an attempt. Closing his eyes, Bormiss tried to visualize the attack and had a smile on his face. As much of a nasty move this was it would be a funny image to see the others face as he drops to the ground with much pain.
Bormiss slowly tried the move as practice before doing it a bit faster. Then after he had finished the practice he replied to Master GO'axa," Here I go Master!" With great might Bormiss swung the axe in a circular motion, but not a perfect motion twards the lower part of the ground and with perfet angle brought axe up as if he would have directly nailed the opponent right in what GO'axe calls the ratbag.
Master was that a good attempt or shall I try again!

ooc: do you have a link to the Basic Axe thread?
ic:
Go'axa watched Bormiss' attempt with a keen eye, making note of anything that might need to be changed. Overall, he was impressed, and only made a couple of slight corrections.
"Ye done well," he said, nodding. "Ye ready fer a new attack?"
Without waiting for a response, he moved away from Bormiss, gaining some room, and holding the axe in both hands, he spun around, swinging the axe in a wide arc. That done, he motioned to Bormiss.
"The spin attack is great fer strikin' more than one opponent, and it ken keep multiple attackers at bay, givin' ye more time t' think and plan out yer attacks. Now ye try, but be sure t' stand a bit off so tha' I not be in yer path."
Go'axa smiled, and waited to watch Bormiss' attempt.
