Seeking out the Thieves Guild
The orc paced back and forth in the main room of his apartment. His feet taking him to one side of the room then turning on a heel and bringing him back to the otherside. Back and forth, back and forth. His find no longer concentrated on the moving of his legs, it was subconsious, a force of habit. Instead his mind was focused in on one singel problem that he could not seem to be able to get past, trying out many plans and watching them fail as they were played out in his head. The sun filtered through the cracks of the wooden boards that covered the only window in the entire apartment, one that had long ago been boarded up through nail and wood by its orcish owner to eliminate any easy ways into the place short of smashing the door down. The dust glided through the air silently, only visible within the rays that shone through and movingsilently through the air. The place was still, quiet, as if nobody was there. The only thing that broke the silence was the constant, rythemic sound of foot after foot touching the wooden floor of the very dimly lit apartment, dimly lit and offering protection from the harmful sun and allowing Urck to relax his black eyes that contained no white. All of the while, back and forth his orkish body was carried. His green skinned face staring unfocused at the floor that passed underneth him.
On either side of the door, the only entrance into the room held still through locks that protected it from certain unwelcome guests. Or at least giving the people inside some time to prepare. The two humans eyes followed the orcs body as he made his way across and back. The orc reached the wooden wall once again and let out a frustrated sigh, bringing his large hands above him and placing them on the brown wall while his forehead gently touched against it. This brightening he was faced with a problem that he had avoided since his arrival in Riparia so many brightenings before. That problem was specificly how to get rid of the gang in power, the group of who he considered to be nothing more then petty thieves. The Thieves Guild. His enemy and the ones that had made him carefully moniter alll of the movements that he and his gang had made, carefully hiding them from the many spies that constantly plagued him and threatened to reveal him at any moment and destroy what had once been a small gang. But now, he had the men, he had the crowns, yet he still knew nothing of his enemy. He could not win without some vital information. But just how would he get that information was what bothered the 5'6 orc.
With another frustrated sigh, Urck raised his hand and hit the wooden wal gently, pushing himself up. With a look to his two guards, the men that he trusted most out of them all and had spent the most time with. He walked over to the door and pushed it open, realizing that the only thing that he was accomplishing here was wearing out the floor quicker. The two humans followed behind him, shutting and locking the door they made their way out of the apartment and into the daylight that covered the streets. And with that he set out, begining his time that he would spend seeking information about the thieves guild with nothing and hopes of gaining everything. For now, Urck looked out for any city guards, but more importantly, anybody dressed in black leather armor and with the appearence of a thief. Even any beggars would do if the other two options were not to be seen.
