Arokan Craelius

Arokan Craelius is an active military officer in the Imperial Legions who was appointed as Imperial Overseer of the Imperial Protectorate of Northumbria. Concurrently commander of the Second Imperial Legion, Imperatis Craelius currently exercises absolute Imperial authority over Jaedexia and its immediately surrounding environs, by authority of, and in the name of the Sovereign of the Aelyrian Empire, as provided by Imperial Edict.

He considers his current assignment as the high point of his entire military career.

He was educated at the Narim Castellum, and took part in arresting the Caperio crime family in Narim.

He began his military career under Alyssa Chrysinaria as a Captain, later becoming an Adjutant for his valour at the Battle of Castellum Keep, which was destroyed by Xet-backed brigands.

He earned a commission as Major after serving with Maj. Gen. Bonratty in the Midlands, joined most soldiers in desertion. Prior to this event, his specialty was Metropolitan Occupation Tactics.

He was promoted to Lieutenant General on special assignment from Maj. Gen. Konn

He is known to be very contemplative, and socially awkward, with no political ambitions. He is cold, calculating, socially awkward, takes orders rather literally (When Valerian said to "undo Jaedaxia" he took it to mean mass annihilation of the population if they resisted).

He is reluctant to turn over control to civilian authority.

He is a weird sort of romantic, once having had a crush on Lt. Commander Rak'kel (now his principal aide in Jaedexia), who at the time was dating Captain Boreal of the AFS Glorious.

His social and professional archnemesis (in the sense that they are socially opposite and don't care for each other, not directly competing) is Lt. Gen. Dervan, a half-elf that has been serving since the Second Empire (Dervan, I'm told, is quite the lady's man).
