Welcome back. Many things have changed, but the core game is still the same. Find a city you wish to visit and post at the gates. Any specific questions you can ask Player Strategists Duvel or Sonya. Also you can ask in the questions forums.

Depending on when you took your vacation ():

- CIRs are now required (just a basic one) so that mods know how much exp. you have.
- PCs now earn 'experience points' (1, 2, or 3) depending on the type of skill they train in, use, or practice for a specific period of time. 10 posts of 'actively using' a particular skill earns you one point; 20 posts or a job earns you two points or seasonal experience; and three points mean you did something unbelievably awesome or you just did A LOT in one thread, etc
- there was a War in Sheria
- Zinn'Sunn is now open
- Jaedaxia no longer has the Everwinter
- the tides went out (for a mile) in Eunesia
- and Aelyria is getting more updates than I have fingers in my hands !

I don't know what you had accomplished before you left, skills or plot, so on so forth...

I'm not positive, but you could probably get away with just making up a reason that your PC hasn't been doing anything since you started your hiatus. Pretty much just start from where you left of skill-wise... This reason, if well though out, could open up the possibility for lots of plotlines, if you get creative. Just you know, my two cents.

Otherwise, like Charlie said, Sonya and Duvel would be the one's to talk to about all that.^^
