Companionship Addon & Groups ?

I just got a short term companionship, and was wondering if I bought like a longer one would add to the currently time and when the next 'current' bought ends does the next one pick up.

Lets say I payed for a month, and then later I decided to buy a year does it mean that the end the year kicks in and I don't have to pay till next yeaar?


I don't know if that's clear?

I noticed there are social groups can one start one or do you need special permission.

I'm not sure about the companionship one as I'm not a companion myself, but I do know that when I go to the "guilds" tab in my User CP, it has a prompt that allows me to create my own social group.

You buy companionships in month, three month, six month, or one year increments. If you buy a month, it lasts exactly thirty days from the date you purchased before it runs out. A year, exactly 356 days from the date you purchased, etc.

In terms of social groups - you can create whatever sort of group you'd like too! Thats the beauty of them.

Really? I never noticed anything. That allowed me to create them. I guess I'll go look.

Just to add, you can add Companionship time by purchasing more time for yourself or anyone else; it always adds Companionship time to the end of your subscription cycle. So, for example, if you got a gift of 30 days of Companionship, and you decided to get yourself 3 months, you'd get an additional 90 days added to your subscription. This is all done instantly by our servers and PayPal, so you can see it happening in real time by accessing your Companions information at your Paid Subscriptions center in the User CP.

I'm actually working on taking a lot of the Companions information currently found on the Companions page and turning it into a Companions FAQ -- feel free to check back there often as I will be adding more stuff to it this week.

I buy a lot of companionships to some people so will that add more time to my pc account that I buy it with? or just works if I buy it for myself and others for myself?

Hi Xavim,

I'm not sure if I understand your question. When you purchase Companionship, you can buy Companionship either for yourself (which you do directly via the Companions Page and the Payments System), or you can purchase a Gift Subscription for someone else. Any time that you purchase is added on at the end of any active account time that someone already has, if you're purchasing time for a character/account that already has Companionship. If no Companionship exists on the account for which you are purchasing time, that account is activated for Companionship automatically by the system. All accounts are automatically deactivated the moment their Companionship time runs out, but can be re-activated instantly the next time new Companionship is purchased. I hope that makes sense.
