I once knew a woman who was a veterinarian at a zoo, and she described to me the process of artificially inseminating Flamingos in great detail. Next time you are having an undignified day at work you can take solace in the fact that you are not sitting on the ground with a flamingo lying on it's back on your legs, stroking it's belly and crooning a "brrrrrrrrrrooooooo" sound to it.
