OOC: Continued from "A Change in the Winds"

As Pescado flew on the back of Ssss'rak, he watched the airship slowly start to speed up. Where on earth are they going? he thought to himself. Duncan was on that ship, and the saurid wanted to know what exactly was going on, and why Duncan, as well as other adventurers made their way eastbound. The saurid himself, did not know what was there, but could only follow the ship aflight with his son's wyvern, whom would hopefully not be to discouraged by the journey eastward.

Being supercharged by the spell that Z'kron had cast, the saurid's wyvern flew upon the torrents of air under it's wings, and made it's way after the speeding up airship. "Wait!" the saurid cried out for a moment, but knew that no answer would come from the airship as it disappeared from their view, having sped up too much for them to catch up too. Allowing himself a few moments to regain his composure, the saurid looked towards Z'kron, and then asked, "Let usssss follow the sssssship, and ssssssee where they have gone. I do not know who, other than Duncan went with them, but thossssse creaturesssss with wingssss mussssst have been behind it. Have you any thoughtsssss assss to where they went bird?" he did not yet know who the bird was, but at the same time, knew the bird was only there to help the saurid and wyvern duo out.

As they flew after the airship, Pescado would enter his Clara, through meditation, and start to work with the weaves around them. He would gather the Ara and mix it with his Vis to create the necessary arcalysis reaction for the mystical spell he was going to cast upon his wyvern, to assist with Z'kron's spell. Focusing upon the essense of through, and then channeling it into the Mana, the saurid would then Alter the Mana into various matrixes, and divine them into certain parts of the Wyvern, finally abjuring them throughout it's nueral links to strengthen them, and give the wyvern greater reaction time as well as speed. The spell Alacrity would then be cast upon the wyvern in order to help it achieve the speed necessary, and perhaps the strength necessary for the trip that they would be taking...

[Z'kron]

The bird squawked, but words didn't seem to be working.
Well. Arcana would have to do. A tiny sliver of a spell he'd perfected long ago for such circumstances; barely a cantrip, which would permit him to communicate with Branch. Something to reverberate the eardrums just a little.
"Ikraelites. So they'd be heading to the Isle of the Crown, Master Branch. The others, as far as I could tell. Duncan, Milo, Alexis- Imperial Marshall, Llanwyn- Aerienne's sucessor, Parreyon the clawknight... " Sometimes, it was good to have the eyes of a hawk.
A wing pointed slightly; almost sensing out the air."That type of magic doesn't go anywhere without leaving a trail. If I can track down Wessex de Eville even through his protective magics, the gods knows a few Ikraelites shouldn't be so hard."
The bird flapped his wings. He was a most unusual bird. For one thing, his eyes resembled nothing more than blue rocks. Arcane rocks. If the saurian had ever seen bluestone, he would recognise the substance instantly.
"Alacrity! It's good to be working with someone of similar talents. The enchantment I laid is via what I call a "sathya". It will persist for an extended period of time, and replenish both its energy and the energy of the wyvern somewhat. The process is complex; but when combined with the alacrity the effect should be multiplicative, rather than simply additive. You see, the spell itself is somewhat living... when you cast the alacrity, it will affect both the spell and the wyvern; and provide energy to maintain both. Part of my masterpiece, actually."
The bird almost seemed proud. It was, undoubtedly, a neatly woven little spell; and this was a situation perfect for it. It remained to be seen whether this would all be sufficient.

Pescado and Z'kron pursued the Skyship Eternity, until it had blinked out of sight in its acceleration. Imbuing flight with the spell of alacrity, and a masterpiece of energy rejuvenation that Z'kron had imbued into the wyvern; a neatly woven spell, indeed, it was sufficient to endure the flight. But try as they might, the pair could no longer see the Skyship. Whatever that vessel did, however it was traversing the air, it no longer even seemed to exist. And so, they persisted, and in under an hour, they began to approach the first of their challenges on this journey: Aetherstar Skyport.
